Wondered who you meant there, jibba.

Bobby Ball, aged 76 after contracting Covid.

I seen him recently on that Lee Mack sitcom 'Not Going Out' and thought that he had died a while back - it was Eddie Large (also with Covid). I always got them two mixed up.

Yeah i was just being obtuse tho thats probably not the right word lol

They were decent enough back in the day, same as Little & Large tho if ye watched them now ye might not find them as funny

A dog of war on the pitch but a gentleman off it.
RIP Nobby.

One thing I learned from Sean Connery is that Russian submarine captains speak with a broad Scottish accent

He has completed the Hunt for Dead October with one day left

From the Bunker

Strange thing with Connery. He switched to supporting Rangers later in his life despite being a Celtic supporter from youth. He changed his allegiance because of good friend David Murray.

"My father introduced me to Celtic and we played football in what we called the back green which was, in fact, made of concrete.''

"I have maintained my love of football. I went away from it when I was really busy on films and then I really got back into it when I was involved in Celtic and I remember helping with the Jock Stein benefit game."
