Mo not happy at being taken off. He'll have the agent on the phone to Saudi Arabia before they leave London tonight.

To be honest I'm surprised there's not more rows involving umpires giving dodgy calls. I've seen some shockers over the years.

Not saying this was the case in Kildress.

Conor McGregor looked like he was having a good time anyway.

On a separate note do UFC do out of competition drug tests?

Whoever is advising AJ should he telling him to call it a day before he gets in a ring with Wilder. This is as bad as I have seen him. Crowd booing in what is an awful fight.

TG4 have the ladies finals all day tomorrow so there'll be no club action on there anyway.

Big wins for Eglish, Ardboe and Moortown tonight. Will the Fianna be sending out an SOS to O'Hagan and Herron to keep them up? Where's Local Expert when you need him?

Big pressure now on Liverpool to compete for the title after their spending during the summer if the Caceido deal goes through. Looking forward to the season ahead should be interesting towards the top end anyway.

The Derry game in 95 was the best memory of all those years.

The Derry game of 1995 was the best memory of my lifetime following Tyrone - easily the best.

I know we won 4 AI titles but that day was hard to beat. Actually the first AI win was a bit of an anti climax. But in fairness the 2005 final was a brilliant final to win as was 2008.

The opposition, the rivalry, the excessive heat on the day, the tension in the stands, the tension on the pitch, red cards, the animosity, the hits, the intensity in the air, the late winner - it had absolutely everything.

We will never forget that day !!!!

100% agree with this but I'll add to that list, the complete arrogance of the Derry fans around us at half time and their growing sense of desperation as the second half unfolded 😁 Not sure if it was because I was younger or had a bit of drink in me that day but the elation at the final whistle that day was greater than I felt after any of the AI wins. It was also the day Peter announced himself as unequivocally the greatest footballer in the land. What a display he put on that day. Jimmy Magee on commentary for UTV's coverage, "if ever there was a point worth repeating over and over again...Peter Canavan is some footballer"
[/b]

One of the best lines of commentary there ever was. Jimmy Magee was the voice of that summer in 1995.

I still see him as not going but surely Munich have been given assurance before bidding that amount. Some money for a lad of his age with 1 year left on his contract

Yeah that's my thinking too. This has been ongoing all summer. Surely in that time they'd have sounded Kane out if he was interested in going. I wouldn't be surprised one way or the other the way it finishes up.

Spurs agree a deal with Bayern then for Kane.

Probably better to rip the sticking plaster off now for Spurs than let him leave for nothing next summer. A bit shocked he is going to Bayern given he is so close to the goal scoring record.

What was the origins of big Arts famous quote when we are playing so and so we'll give him a shout. Paraphrasing that completely obviously but always wondered who the original quote was about?

1st Man City
2nd Arsenal
3rd Liverpool
4th Man Utd

I think Arsenal and Liverpool will be well in the title race with 5 or so games left until the City machine goes into overdrive.

18th Wolves
19th Luton
20th Sheff Utd (record low points)

Games were at 8 last night. I see they've pulled them forward 15 minutes for next Friday which should help slightly. Certainly the bad weather hasn't helped. Evenings dropping down a bit quicker than normal at this time of year.

If the mark has to stay I wouldn't mind if it was inside the 21m line only. These marks around the D for a simple kick and catch that an u10 could do shouldn't be rewarded with a tap over free.
