At the ladies games earlier in Healy Park. Such a sad shame the officiating not of the standard required. Derg scored a last minute goal, girl laid on the ground in the square and plays the ball (already rolling along the ground) into the nets using her hands. Ref gives the goal.

Umpires not neutral, and a row almost breaks out between them due to the contention. Simply guys doing umpire who don't know the rules, and are totally biased. Ref and lineos should do it themselves in such a case. Totally unfair on the players on the pitch. Embarrassment for Tyrone GAA with good crowd in attendance.

*Tyrone LGFA

Semantics or attempt at silly pedantics..? All fall under the Tyrone GAA remit a chara

Carmen with the breeze second half, doubt it will be enough for a turnaround. Errigal in full control after goal just before half time.

Any team news hovering?

Mickey just on Radio Ulster there, seems a shame he didn't get the extra year based on what he was saying. Very well spoken as always, the man who masterminded it all, a legend whose shoes will be very hard to fill by the eventual successor.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. He mentioned about making the players better people, obviously failed with the Instagram dog accounts a couple of players have!

What a year for errigal ciaran.

Asses handed to them by dungannon who they looked down their noses at.

Now their 2nd most famous celebrity Micky the Dictator gets the proverbial managers' guillotine in the morning

Bad year for the parish. MH is devoid of new ideas, talent pool needs revamped and his loyalty to some of the panel is unfair to the hungrier players within the county that are ignored.

1.   Niall Morgan - Edendork
2.   Ryan McMenamin - Dromore
3.   Ronan McNamee - Aghyaran
4.   Joe McMahon - Omagh
5.   Tiernan McCann - Killyclogher
6.   Conor Gormley - Carrickmore
7.   Mattie Donnelly - Trillick
8.   Cormac McAnallen - Eglish
9.   Kevin Hughes - Killeeshil
10.   Sean Cavanagh - Moy
11.   Gerard Cavlan - Dungannon
12.   Brian McGuigan - Ardboe
13.   Peter Canavan - Errigal Ciaran
14.   Eoin Mulligan - Cookstown

Frank Burns and Cathal McShane possibly could be in there somewhere, it's tough. Torn leaving Philly Jordan out although Cav has to be in there!

Any confirmed panel/ team news for Sunday?

What are the predictions?

A draw at 9/1 worth £5 of the queen's finest.

GAA Discussion / Re: Should the GAABOARD Shut Down

No.

Social media abuse is a wider societal problem. 'Board abuse' (of which I don't see that much of) will only transfer to other media forms.

The year 2020 - people are so sensitive, just let it fly over your head OR if it's really bothering you go speak to a professional on how to deal with fame and the praise/ criticism that comes along with it.

Read an article with Kieran Donaghy calling on the GAA to shut down fan forums. Spending a few minutes reading the comments on here makes it hard to disagree with him. Gossip mongers and trolls doing their best to spread rumours about their OWN players. This thread used to be a good place to discuss the county team, not spread innuendo like a scummy English tabloid. It's just become utter toxic waste.

And you're still on here complaining about forum trolls. A little hypocritical ...

My ten pence - with What's App, Snapchat, Instagram, and other available media platforms, GAA forums are normally the last places to publish said rumours. World. We. Live. In.

Video of mcshane rowing in cookstown going around. Seems to have been jumped by someone else.
he making a habit of it. Headbutted a fella in Monaghan town that plays for clontibret before Christmas. Frank burns done alot of boxin the same night!

Cathal will be on the receiving end of a lot of slagging from players and fans jealous of his reported 'deal to stay' which inevitably will lead to issues when drink is involved in public places.

With the package, comes a different profile and how he and the Tyrone management manage that over the coming years will be interesting, as of course it does not sit well with many followers and aspiring squad members. It goes without saying he will get some extra attention on the club field when he takes to it.

Pogues or O'Neills will probably be packed for it espec with the students being back. So if you're happy with that I would go to either, preferred O'Neills myself when I was over as there was slightly more room and got served quicker at the bar!

Sheannanigans, The Liffey or Flanagans are other options as previously mentioned and while there should be a good crowd in each they should be a tad less busy. Two big Premiership games Sunday as well so a lot of the bars will be stuffed.

Omagh no-one to put it over the bar tonite, hence their exit. Errigal won the game with clinical score taking in the first half and a dogged second half display to hold off the Omagh comeback. All ifs buts and maybes but Starrs, Big Joe and young Rony massive loss to St Endas, who knows, seems to be the same old story with Omagh. Good luck to Errigal in the semi's!

Was up at Dunmoyle on Sunday, well contested affair by both teams even though it was tough to get any good sequences of play going with a very whistle happy referee. Didn't see what McMahon and Starrs did in the scuffle towards the end but there was a bit of a melee and fists were thrown. Number 6 for Clonoe definitely butted, think Diarmaid Kerr (No. 7) may well have been on the receiving end as reports say he has a broken nose.

Omagh were well off the pace in the first half shooting far too many wides and not really having much fluidity to their play against the wind. They will look back on two early 2nd half strikes from Clonoe that both came back off the woodwork as being a tad lucky. However a 2nd half inspired by the phenomenal Conan Grugan and McMahon brothers eventually saw them home even though they had to sweat a little more than they should have towards the end. Some of the younger player's still showed that inexperience in not putting the nail in the coffin when 3 points up in injury time. Grugan will surely be giving Mickey Harte food for thought with performances like that and the previous week. Will be interesting to see how they fair against Errigal Sunday week without big Joe.

Sad to hear the news about Target Express, sign of the times  :(

Whatever people have said in the past about Omagh not being serious championship contenders, this result has surely changed that view.

They showed a lot of character to come back in both games against Clonoe, who were many peoples tip to win the championship.Who are the favourites now?

Just don't get that, Clonoe have been down 6 players from last year championship panel due to injuries and immagration. From the drawn game with Omagh, we lost another two that were not going to be available for the rest of the season due to injury, 8 in total. We knew we would be very hard to beat, but we also knew we we didn't have the panel to win it. We were very surprised by how well we were doing in the league due to the injuries and loses we have had. The league has been poor this year for the reasons previously discussed on here in that two of the teams were unable to complete for the top 4 spot, which definately took the spice out of many games.

Fair enough point regarding players missing but you can only beat what's put in front of you. The result will give Omagh a big confidence boost especially as they were underdogs in both games. Championship favourites are Dromore and rightly so, they are still the team to beat!
