Any of these pronunciations are in the ha'penny place when you compare to the Tyrone/Armagh way of saying Hughes

the unionist education nordies receive certainly influences pronunciation  ;)

We haven't morphed into saying 'Bell-ack-y' or 'Mackera-felt' just yet though.

The worst kind.

Christ the night. The Coronavirus is here. It's a huge thing. I get that.
We aren't lacking coverage on it.
Some Friday night, light entertainment perhaps?

Stopped watching! Even light hearted skype interviews remind you that we are in a Covid-19 world!

Can't listen to another celebrity talk about how much things have changed and how they are coping.

laoislad

Turned it off. Binged watched 4 episodes of Sunderland till I die instead.

Milltown Row2

Stopped watching this show after Stockon Wing and the Dubliners episode. How long was that? Late 80'
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Compared to the normal show where most guests are interviewed to promote their books.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Such an Irish love-in on this show.  How great you all are - anybody else think it's way over the top.

I saw a bit of it tonight and thought it was like, give yourselves a clap on the back.  Society getting more like this with all the social media waffle re: clapping for the health professionals etc.

Rossfan
