Kerry author and historian Domhnall Mac a tSíthigh (Danny Sheehy) died while taking part in a 'Camino by sea' voyage to Spain.

I watched a recent documentary on the journey he took by currach from Ireland to Santiago by sea, along with musicians including Glen Hansard.

Yeah one of the voices of my youth when live sport on tv was a rarity and something to cherish..

Ole Helmut stalwart of the news when I was starting to take notice of it. Seemed like a sensible skin and didnt like Thatcher either so musts been alright RIP
