They love playing the mental health card.

They have a valid point in fairness.

Must be very hard for them to be in a business where the margins are fine enough as is, in a labour of love and half of them aren't getting what they should be getting on time from what I know. Was only a matter of time before some businesses started to strike back.

I'm talking about them going on and on and playing the mental card regarding their customers. I would suggest they don't give two hoots about their customers mental health.

Maybe, you could well be right, but you put people in that position financially. Sooner or later there was going to be unrest.

If we could afford to pay Davis that for 20 hours work a month. I think we could have afforded to keep Peter Donnelly there on a full time basis.

No way were the Tyrone County Board paying that kind of money out.

They were.

And Donnelly didn't leave because of money. It was obvious the problem was with Mickey.

Thats exactly why he left and its exactly why he's back. Now he can work full and part time.

Words fail on this one. Not as if it was the middle of Siberia miles away from anyone.

I haven't really posted in this thread, but I've been reading it.

Seems like some people want the vaccine to have side effects? I can't understand that? Anything that gets the whole thing back to normal surely must be a thing of hope and positivity?

MUSA pitches are closed so you'd be wasting your time tonight.

Running track.....

Go on Sunday morning.

2 separate seasons is all that matters - the club and county must play at different times.
Clubs should go first - then County in July ( as quite simply it is more high profile and generates the income - so it should be played at best time of year.
Also who says Ulster club etc has to be scrapped? - could it go again after into county - in Sept/ Oct?
In its more or less traditional spot - would only be a few players in each county playing.

So maybe - Feb - June (Club)
July - sept/ Oct inter county
Oct/ Nov - Ulster club / AI club

Also this area that clubs need a 2 month preseason is utter nonsense - 4 weeks would be more than enough. The 2 months / 12 weeks - is just so the manager merry go round can get extra money from taking clubs. Look at last year, one of the best seasons ever in Tyrone and there was no big 2 month preseason build up.

Wouldn't say that now.

Don't remember a better championship in Tyrone
Every game was too quality and there was no need for a 2/3 month preseason - 4 weeks more than enough

No argument on the quality of the Championship, but if you think teams weren't breaking the training ban you are not correct. The fact there were quite a number of contests that went into ET and right down to the wire wasn't luck, it was due to the fact teams were so fit.

Teams are training and breaking regulations right now. Take a trip to MUSA tonight, or any lighted area and you'll see a team training.

If you think 4 weeks is enough to train for a club championship you are dead wrong and shows you haven't ever kicked a ball. The reason the club championship in Tyrone last year was so good I would say is because clubs had access to their whole playing squad, the whole season.

Vaccine for the UK from next week. https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-uk-approves-use-of-pfizers-coronavirus-vaccine-12148786

Great news, very welcome development. One more step closer to the end of this constant depression.

Yeah I take your point on that, Trez did make a complete meal of it.  Dean Smith said the whole ground could hear the thud of the contact, and I assume that played into the ref's original decision too.
If there was such a thud I doubt the ref would even have considered reviewing the decision. And in all honesty how on earth could such a slight contact,  if any, could have caused such an earth trembling thud?

It made my day.  :D

No doubt you enjoyed last night too lol.

The dreaded sleeve in an offside position, just like Bamford a few weeks ago.  Plus it isn't a foul cos he's offside? I actually haven't a clue of the rules.

West Ham with 2 shots and come away with the win, having been brutal for 88 mins of football.

Not to mention, the only reason Watkins sleeve / arm was offside was because he was being held back by the defender!

It's really killing the game. I don't know how they can get it so wrong, how can people be involved in the game yet so out of touch.

Peter Donnelly "I'm thrilled to be back. I wanted to stay last year and I was able to commit to it but things didn't work out... I just can't wait to get into it"

Teamtalk just posted this amount twitter and deleted it, discuss

Donnelly talking rubbish. He took a full time job (as is his absolute right) in a professional sport. He then came back saying he could work with Tyrone in the evenings (but only the evenings Ulster Academy didn't have anything on).

He basically wanted to stay with Tyrone via Zoom. Harte wasn't happy, understandably and days later Donnelly stumbled across the Monaghan set up?

Loves the cash.

Potentially 2 months until club season starts. Would be nice to know pretty soon. Normally clubs have 3 months pre-season. Also dont see any reason for a shortened season!? If this is how its going to be going forward then fit the games in. If you gave club Feb - June (21 weeks) that should be enough time to get 15 league games plus playoffs and 4 championship rounds.

In saying that i dont see why the clubs should go first. Much more participation at club level and therefore more risk of covid spreading. I think it should be second half of year this year anyway.

With Vaccine news, more chance of ticket sales for the IC game later in year.

Kildress will be promoted. There is no way the CB will not allow them to play D2 next year. They will do the right thing. But one of Cookstown/Kileeshal etc might be a bit upset.

Has enough time passed? Don't see anywhere for him but Connacht even then. The uproar would it be worth it?

Here's a question. Who is Ireland's long term out half after Sexton?? Do we have an International standard out half to replace him?

Ross Byrne has hardly set the world alight anytime he's played and while Burns did fairly well yesterday it was against Georgia.

Is Joey Carberry (if he ever manages to get injury free) an option, talented but seems a bit soft. Or is he just an injury write off. At the moment we have major issues at 7,9,10 & 15. Rob Kearney was in hindsight very uner-rated. Hopefully Dan Leavy can make an impact again, looked a serious bit of stuff in 2018.
Would like to see Pat Lam in, would be a serious change from the up the jumper stuff our rugby league coach has us playing.

Honestly, he's a write off. You can't build a team around him. You can't even plan for him anymore.
