Aaron Connolly let go by Hull. What is the story with that lad.

Attitude is not the best. Thought he was doing well with Hull. Think he picked a couple injuries as hadn't featured much lately.

So the Klopp era ends with a win. As a neutral I've admired him greatly. Liverpool are a completely different club now compared to the one he took over.

Can anyone from Dublin tell me why Ciarán Archer who would be around 24 now hasn't made the step up to Dublin senior team and is he even on the panel at the moment?

A talented player but don't think he better than what on panel now. Quality freetaker but for me doesn't do enough from play  and without the ball. He was on senior panel in 2022 but picked up an injury and never got back in.

A few of the forwards on the Dublin panel at the moment Ross McGarry,Killian O'Gara,Lorcan O'Dell,Killian McGinnis. He must have fallen back a fair bit from his days standing out at U20 level if not better than some of them now.

Them lads bar O'Gara would be in half forward line. O'Gara prob won't be in 26 when everyone is back. U20 is hard to gage. Massive difference from the old u21 in terms of making step up to make step up to senior. Dublin had a few talented lads at u20 like James Doran and Mark Lavin who also haven't make step up to senior.

There was 30K at the game last year and it included the Dublin v Galway Leinster hurling game. There was a decent smattering of maroon around Croke Park that day.

Attendance won't be great. A round of Dublin club games Division 1-4 fixed for 6-30 that evening.

They had a round of junior games on 3 mornings of Leinster championship games. With looking to have leagues wrapped before club championship no leeway to move games.

League games with us are all on friday evenings now, any reason why that couldn't happen?

Over the summer the lower end junior games are played on Monday night. Junior Divisons 5-8 Sunday mornings. Not sure why don't play on a Friday as pitches shouldn't be an issue. I'm sure players and referees want rather game out of the way than waiting for Sunday.

You'd swear there were ten leg-breaking tackles like that every day the way he's going on.

In fairness, rangers manager was unequivocal about it saying it was red and a bad tackle. Bizarre stuff from Miller.

What I understand from his later justifications it's even more bizarre. Kenny claimed that it would not have been a red card tackle in his day, therefore it wasn't a red card tackle.

I think he's just doubling down on his initial decision. Doesn't want to back down. A clown.

Although Sutton is a clown also. Can't stand him.

Yesterday's game, like this year's league, was very hard work by Celtic.  Poor stuff. Should have beaten them out the gate by 4 or 5 goals.  Typical 2-0 up then conceding straight away. Just typical of this season.

Point still stands. Board need to invest big time now. Players like Scales, Harte and Taylor etc. are clearly not at the right standard. Celtic need serious investment.  That should start right now instead of their usual messing about in August.

This will bring in more money via Champions League and good chance Matt O'Riley will go for £10m+.

Scales is better than all your other centre backs in my opinion.

Did you not take note of Scales' performance in Saturday's game? It was desperate defending for the headed goal, he knew the Rangers player was there but carried on ball watching. He can't jump and if he does get his head onto the ball, who knows where it will end up and that's a chronic problem dating back to his debut.Anytime he goes forward with the ball the game slows down. How many times did his passes go astray? At the very least he was by far the worst passer.
CCV can pass the ball and can head, but in many other respect Scales can hold his own.
Scales has improved no end as a player, Rodgers is the perfect manager for him. He doesn't get injured, I'd rate him as an invaluable squad player.

Would like to see Scales at left back. Don't he good enough for CB. He got his move to Celtic on his form for Shamrock Rovers when switched from centre half to left wing back.
