GAA Discussion / Re: Hefty Bans....

I was at the game. Not relying on my cousin or sister or neighbour from 2 parishes away, as eye witnesses .

It was clean game with a bit of a row but nothing worst than youd see at many a u12 league game. The only reason theres a fuse is because the county officers took a bit of stick. Completely over the top reaction which will be overturned on appeal.

Dungiven are a great price at 11/4. Hope they pull it off. They've been close in recent years, drawing with Dunloy an beattin Portaferry.

The attitude towards hurling of some on the County Board is nothing less than a disgrace. They really do see it as a hindrance to making progress in football. 2 years ago they tried to kill the ulster league by fixing football matches for the Saturday evenings when it was on. Thank God it didn't work because i think we need it more than Antrim or Down do.

Great day for the FA Cup alright but that arsehole Motson is hard to listen to. Any of the teams left can win it now. Good to see.
