Meath v Kerry. Will be one hell of a game. I'm not been cocky but I honestly believe that we will win and go onto win the all Ireland

Hands up, I did reluctantly engage, but sometimes someone is just blowing out their hole so much that you can't resist having a say

Quote from: thebigfella on Today at 02:57:49 PMGenerally I found a capo and avoiding barre chords helped with my patience  ;)

In fairness, I found it's just getting reps more than anything.I'd struggle to learn now as I go through phases where I play flat out every day and then don't look at a guitar for weeks.

Yes, but all open chords and keys can be played without barre chords. Capo primarily used (more so for beginners) to play a song in a key which they find easier to play (either to play along with a particular song or find a key that suits their voice of they want to play and sing and setup dates at parties etc) eg you've a fav song in E, but the key of E involves a B, C#m etc.. If a beginner is more confident playing in the key of C, capo 4th fret, playing the c shape but in a different key. You prob already know this, typed so maybe someone might get some use out of it

I haven't watched the documentary yet but my mother was from Bellaghy. In the 1970s the Orangemen would go out of their way to parade through a Catholic housing estate even though they knew it was Catholic.

Quote from: Look-Up! on Today at 09:42:31 AMWhat's people's take on Chelsea and Pochettino? Gets a very easy ride from the press compared to Utd, although if they win tonight they'll only be 3 points behind them.

With that squad though, surely they should be contenders. If they have everyone fit next year, a good manager should be at least competing for CL, and if City regress, a title. If they can't, you'd imagine huge financial implications are coming down the line.

If Abrahamovich was still there would be well gone. All the money wasted spent lack a decent no 9 and goalie. Conor Gallagher as captain shows lack of leaders in the group too.

Yes he would be gone months ago, doubtful if even appointed under Abrahamovich. He's a darling of the English media so an easy ride was expected.

At a superficial level it is boring to the passing observer. I've tried explaining to the missus and teenage kids the skill involved in accurate cueball control, break building, safety play etc. ZERO interest. Same for darts.

Defensively poor too for a team that need to improve up front. Doesn't seem to be much structure to them, not that I see much of them. Maybe that's the problem, squad too big with loads of talent means they don't stick to a system or settled 11. Probably need a manager who's a c**t.
