Best hurling team lost.. though Thomas' got away with a lot of fouls.. Ballygunnar subs coughed up abit of cheap ball and Dessie went quiet second half..

Popped over to watch St Pat's Academy V St Pat's Armagh last night in the Rannafast final. Armagh led at the break by 2 points they got a fairly fortuitous goal in 1st half from a high ball into the square. Academy made hard work in first half running into a well organised and strong Armagh defence, who bottled them up and turned them over. HT 1-5 0-6
Academy better setup after the break and stopped running into the Armagh defence. Switching the play well to get a few danger men to catch handy marks as well as strong runners coming at better angles to break them down. Got a bit of a run on them. Armagh got another fairly lucky penalty to come back a them but Academy had a bit too much in the end running out 0-16 to 2-6 winners.

Good game. Best for Academy probably Joel Kerr, Liam McGeary and big lad in MF. Stewartstown lad.

Granacho has a seriously long way to go as well, he's young yes but he wastes a phenomenal amount of possession..criminal at times..over hitting crosses, carrying it too far when simple pass on, drilling over endlines etc despite his odd moments of brilliance he must be v frustrating to play with

if that's the case, its just another continuation of the muppet show that's up in garvaghy,,, and they'll probably confirm the week before the first age group are out like last year
makes no sense with tyrone minors out in march and likely one of the local schools still in Mcrory/hogan..

I totally agree on ETH failings, he has made decisions in last number of games which have been poor and cost us, mount coming on last night, v Man City early second half, few other games making early second half changes which cost us,,

however Maguire has been good this past few games and deserved to start, couldn't fault his effort last night, he's just liable to a clanger every so often
Varnane is done as is errikson and casimera - they were one year buys and there time is up
