The thing i cannot understand is how Mickey Harte puts up with that behaviour with all his good living and all. He must'nt have seen all them  bad things over the years. If he hada he surely would tell  ricey we dont want that behaviour in our game you are dropped.

I would say you just dont like him.

I would say I don't know him.

I've played against him and found nothing out of the ordinary in terms of his behaviour.  He certainly didnt behave like a thug on that occasion.

He did yesterday (albeit less than normal). Perhaps we'll get to the stage where he plays football for the entire match and doesn't resort to such behaviour.

You and i both know that will never happen ;)

Just before Ricey's antics he had taken a very hard hit from Eoin.  I assume that he must have thought it was Paddy.  Whilst he shouldnt be at that carry on it could be a reason why he decided to let himself down.

That's what I heard, which I referred to early. Didn't want to comment on it, as I didn't see the incident myself.
He knew it wasn't Paddy as he had just hit Paddy himself before that - which was what Eoin was reacting to.

Look I'm not anti Ricey. I think he's a great footballer - but that kind of stuff is way out of order in any sporting environment.

If my brother did that to any footballer and the lad got up and broke his jaw with a slap he'd get no sympathy from me ... you don't do that. You win with manners. And the best way to answer Bradleys messing from 2 years ago would have been to do nothing accept win the game.

Not riceys biggest fan but he is a winner and a great footballer you never know want went on between him and Bradley during the game.
Doesn't excuse it

prob not but in the course of a derby championship game things will happen which i suppose should'nt but that is the way it is. I think some other team hate tyrone that much they can't seem to play against them i can think of one in the bottom corner of ireland for starters.Cork mght be a different proposition though.

As I was standing watching the game today, poor aul Saffron Sam being ridiculed about his suggestion (that 5/6 Antrim men would make the Derry team) entered my head. Now, I don't really want to get into that arguement but Derry are carrying some lads who just aren't good enough at this level (I know they are missing players). It just seems that they are hyped to the hill every year and you look at their team on paper and think it's a good team but then you see them play a couple of games and realise that some of the boys aren't anywhere near as good as you thought they were.

This next comment/question is going to be completely unfair and I apologise before posting it but I'll throw it out there anyway to see what you think........

Has Mark Lynch played a good game since he was 16?

No but it is coming

So dpes this unnamed team that plays in blue have to play all games away from home or can they play home games at another ground within their area?

Not sure is that the penalty across the board for not naming a player/manager  involved in a off the ball incident?

I see there's a mention in the Derry club thread of an unamed Tyrone club whose pitch has been closed for six months.

Who is it? If I was to take an educated guess would they be wearing blue?

That would be a good guess alright  ;)

Has that suspension been confirmed?

They cant even play a friendly ??? at home.
