If you go second hand you can get great camera bodies as people who hardly use them go for the latest and greatest model. Most bodies half in value after a year or two.

Each brand will have it cheaper and expensive lens ranges. That's where the real money can be spent. Good quality glass holds its value pretty well.

Dpreview is a site worth visiting for a bit of understanding  about what's out there

So buying the right lens is key more so than the camera body then?
Do you suggest eBay best place to buy 2nd hand?
Has anyone bought 2nd hand SLR camera before?
The lens is far more important than the camera body.
I have a Sony A550 DSLR but the lens that came with it wasn't the best.
I bought two new lens a 18-55mm f2.8 and a 70-300mm zoom lens.
You should pick up a good Canon,Nikon,Olympus or Sony second hand easy enough but most brands are all more or less the same nowadays,it's the quality of the lens that matters.
Also if you just buy a DSLR and leave it on Auto all the time you may as well just buy a normal cheap compact camera, its worth putting in the effort to learn how to use a DSLR properly.

The non Apple leads won't work as regards transmitting the picture from Sky Go onto your TV from your iPad.
I had to jailbreak my iPhone and download software onto it for those leads to work, I'd presume iPads are the same though I don't know for sure.
There is a problem now though with the Sky Go app as it can now detect the jailbreak but usually one of the tech geniuses on the Internet finds a way around it.
I'm hoping they get it fixed before Premier League starts!
Might be worth your while and will be less hassle in the long run just buying the official leads.

Ridiculous decision! There is no ambiguity around this case the guy may as well be dead and he's a drain on his family and the NHS.

I'm not sure the theory that he may be a drain on his family(in your opinion) or the health service should come into as a reason that this guy should be allowed to die.
I agree with Tony insofar as the man is of sound mind and if it's his decision and his alone then yes I agree he should probably be allowed to end his suffering.
What I would be worried about is the precedent this could set and what about those who are both physically and mentally disabled those that can't make such a decision themselves, is it ok to end their life just because they MAY be a burden to their family or the health service?

He was in something well before Roy.

I think Hot Shot Hamish was in Tiger before he transferred to Melchester Rovers.

Pretty sure Hamish didn't play for Melchester Rovers though, he played for Princes Park and I think himself and Mighty Mouse then went to another team called Glenlow Rangers or something like that.

I remember one I loved, "Goalkeeper", what comic was it in ? Roy of the Rovers?

Yeah love that too, didn't he have a skeleton doll as a lucky charm and only played well when he had it?
A bit like Billy and his boots.

I've given it up again. After posting 78, 75, 77 in 3 of my last 4 rounds I followed it up with a spectacular 92 on sunday at the Boss's private course, while playing with the Nevada State Amateur (gross) champion. Was duffing and shanking all over the shop and the nerves really got the better of me. I downed a double jameson at the turn (clock had yet to strike 09:30 hrs) I was that out of sorts. I'd be standing over the ball in total paralysis thinking to myself "this could f**king go anywhere, if I even hit it". Pure torture. Shot 39 on the backside though after the whiskey, so maybe there's something in that.

EDIT: Yes, that is 53 strokes on the front side. I hit two houses and lost about 4 balls.

Ah here Tiger would you go and fcuk off with your complaining!!
There is feck all wrong with a 92!

Never heard of the lad but he looks good in the video.

So did Bebe......

I didn't make the call though.   ;)

You'd be hoping someone did go to see him play and not just buy him from watching a few clips of him on DVD.
Sure who would be stupid enough to do that.......

Liverpool Football Club have reached an agreement with SC Heerenveen for the transfer of winger Oussama Assaidi, subject to the player passing a medical.

The 24-year-old, who has scored 20 goals in 68 appearances for Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie, will now undergo a medical at Melwood.

Assaidi has represented his native Morocco 22 times since making his international debut in February 2011.

One of the highlights of his young career came in a 6-2 win over FC Twente in 2010 when he scored a hat-trick and assisted the other three goals.

Never heard of him

You're not the only one!
I'm sure he is world class though ;)
