Dunno if any of you have yet heard of the mystical, magical and sensational voice of Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu from Elcho Island off the Northern Territory.  Blind from birth, his mam bought him a wee piano when he was three.  There were no left-handed guitars on the island so he got a regular guitar and away he went.  Notice the strings are upside down for a leftie.  He became part of the superb group Yotha yindi then went on his solo career.  He cannot speak English very well, dispelling the myth that Aus is a monoglot country - Liam jarra the melbourne demon player speaks three other languages before English and it is not great. I hope to see him soon and can imagine the power of his voice.  Enjoy.

And here's a ballad from the Pigrim Brothers, Broome.  great lads and not adverse to celebrating their Aboriginal, malaccan, Japanese, IRISH ancestry.  And damned don't they love a bodhran player!!!
To find his equal an Irishman is forced to talk to God!

Lovely music.  I'll have to check out more.

Did Hendrix not play lefthanded without modifying the strings?
