when i cancelled they were showing re-runs of top gear. it was on about ten non subscription channels at the same time. the setanta girl kept asking me why i was cancelling!!!

try to be patient and go through the motions dont cancel your direct debit they'll  keep invoicing you then destroy your credit rating. although your probably thinking fukem i'll cancel it anyway. this type of action backfired on me i can only get hire purchase from one company over a disputed mobile phone bill of about 50quid
