Great hurling match. Ref lost the plot but kind of adding to it.

Maybe not the highest quality sometimes but Cork vry fired up. KK with quite a few missing still seem a bit much though.

Whats the score?

Great win for Carlow in div2, I like their style and have some very good young talent in their midst.

Down (both of them) get their first wins, so beating Westmeath is still imperative for Div2 survival.

maxpower

23 scores is a decent return for Dublin against the Cats, was fearful after there expliots last year that they could be overwhelmed in a few games this year, and though loses to Offaly and an understrength Galway would be a concern, beating Tipp and a credible performance against KK will put them in good stead. lucky in many ways that relegation is not going to be an issue for ayone this year given the soap opera in limerick

Good game between Waterfod & Cork, Cussen looks a BIG threat.

Antrim put in a credible show against Clare but out of contention for final place which perhaps has laois as favourites to meet clare in the final given wexfords woes in Dr Cullen Park.  Fair play indeed to Carlow, making great strides in hurling, the loss to Antrim may deny them a final berth

eslewhere a great result for Armagh, a realistic ambition is too become the third best team in Ulster now and take it from there come championship

Only 7/8 of the cats team. We had 12 of our championship 15. It was  a good performance but we are miles off kilkenny. Thats the reality. they will beat us by 10-12 points in the championship.
Richie power is shaping up for a big year and John mulhall is the real deal. Rice is also an excellent hurler. We've problems at the back but we are putting up big scores. role reversal for Dublin hurling in some ways.
