Threads has the Meta infrastructure behind it. Plus I think you can migrate followers.

I'm on Threads. It's very upbeat stuff, nicer to read than Twitter. It sends all sorts of random stuff at me but so far it seems to be good stuff.

He wants to turn it into the everything app. Paying for stuff and all sorts. Imagine reading some shit from thon Bryson dose and then ordering a car off the cesspit. Crazy.

I do enjoy Twitter, cant stand Facebook or Instagram but I would not pay a penny for it. The only people who pay currently are ones who have a decent following but once the followers all head off they will also. Threads is apparently the nearest thing but have not looked into it.

I will certainly quit if he asks for a subscription. A small one off payment for the app I might consider.
