How did Tipp allow this awful Cork team beat them by 11 points?
#3047
Finally Cork get their 4th score of the game. Worse they are getting not better.

You'd rarely ever see a goal change a game so much. Mayo looked exhausted before it and Tipp look out on their feet ever since.

I can't ever recall a goal change a game so much. Tipp totally collapsed after it when at that stage they really should have led by about 6 points.

That very lucky goal a huge turning point in this game and would expect Mayo to kick on and win now.
#3050
Tipp full forward line causing Mayo all types of problems they really should be about 6 or 7 points ahead now but leaving the door open for Mayo not wise...
#3051
Dislocated shoulder for Seamus O Shea there by the looks of it.
#3052
Tipp giving a good account of themselves so far and probably should be leading by more.

The Mayo bench today. Not near the strength of the benches of the other top teams.

That was the best game of this World cup so far. Fitting that Shaqiri scored the winning goal as he was the best player on the pitch 2nd half.

GAA Discussion / Re: Dublin v Laois
June 22, 2018, 02:31:22 PM
I see the margin of victory for Dublin on Sunday looking at the odds is 29 points. Now I know it's the best side v Laois who were playing division 4 football this spring but surely Laois won't be so poorly organized to allow themselves to ship a defeat like that in a provincial final?

If going on how players performed in World cups Messi wouldn't be close to the top three. Maradona is rated ahead of him on World cups performances because he carried two much weaker Argentina teams on paper on his back to either winning or narrowly losing a final.

All talk thus far has been about offensive players what about defenders? Lothar Matthaus,Cafu,Cannavaro to name but a few that really stood out in World cups.

Put the Dublin club champions into the Leinster cship with the other counties. The likes of Vincents,BBoden etc. have as big a population as most counties anyway. That would level it out.

The Leinster championship result last November in case you missed it. Rathnew (Wicklow) 1-13. St. Vincent's (Dublin) 1-9

Messi and his Argentina team miserable. With the magic of Modric Croatia showing why they are one of the dark horses.

I had the Denmark game down as 1-1 and changed it to a 2-1 win moments before kick off. Well bollix to that.
