O Dempsey's prob did not bring their A game they were already qualified seemed to be going through the motions.  Ballyroan are young if they stay senior this year it will be a success

I think it's going to have to be a young Laois manager prob someone off the 2003 team and managing at club level that would make Joe Higgins the early favourite any sort of a decent showing from Arles Kileen and he has the job.  I would think Chris is a good future manager but he is still playing and thats never a good thing.  Clancy and Kavanagh if they got a decent run would be considered.  A couple who should be considered are Tommy Conroy and Mick Moore but they have been around awhile and have not been considered.  This years club championship will be the C.V for the Laois manager.

Not Sheehan's greatest fan.  He got the max out of himself and his career and in fairness lived for playing ball.  Never really was comfortable with him playing for Laois and at best he was only slightly ahead of plenty of players in the county.  I would think a blowin would have to be considerably better to be selected.  Saying that he gave everything for Laois nothing more uncomfortable though than a Kerry man in a Laois Jersey asking you to have pride in your county:)

GAA Discussion / Inter County Transfer

Right we have a guy who played intermediate championship hurling with a club in London in their 2015 championship.   He now wishes to return home and our secretary enquired could he play Senior Football Championship in Laois in 2015.  We were told that the rule is not code specific i.e he played hurling so he cannot play football.  Also does intermediate equate to senior are they not two different levels.  Does anyone have any idea what way the rules do read.

TOF was a bad manager before he ever arrived in Laois, I remember when he arrived alot of people openly questioned the appointment.  Considering his record there has to be questions asked how he was ever appointed Laois manager.  The manager has to be a good appointment if not you lose the players quickly like Laois.  I have never heard Ross being abused by Laois supporters but he no longer is the force he once was.  Personally I would like a young manager with alot to prove.  I would be in favour of someone based in the county.

I think you could pick  holes in most of the Laois Panel if your good enough your old enough.  He is a tough I would have no fears there.

Lad's I know you might have a thing for Finn he is decent not exceptional. Sean Moore is exceptional. I hope I am right in saying this,  Sean is going to light up Laois Football for the next few years. I seen him first against Timahoe last year and I am good bit older than him so I am not a cheerleader from the minor team.  This chap is exceptional I will refer to this post after Laois SFC I actually think he should get some game time against Kildare.  He just has a habit of been in the right place and the right time.  I don't think I have ever bigged up a player so I hope I am not putting the mockers on him.

Might be.  Ballyroan prob should have won but Ballyfin are going to improve alot.  I suppose I am stating the obvious Sean Moore is the key to their sucess.  First time they have had most of their players back I did rate them last year so hopefully they are ready to go now.

Tierney is playing this year also McMahon.  O Dempsey's are walking this division in fairness they are a decent outfit who should be in Division 1.  Won't do them any harm being in Div 2, Ballyroan won the county in 06 from Div 2.

BallyroanAbbey &  Timahoe played out a draw last night in front of a big crowd.  Both sides will feel like they should have won it.  I presume Timahoe, will feel happier they were missing 3 County boys and we were down Tierney and Kearns.  0-9 0-9 was the score.  O Dempseys look well and truly the big guns in this division.

Graiguecullen are after conceding all their games in this division, so expect a strong showing in lower down divisions.
