Wasn't O'Rourke over the Dromintee u16's who won ulster club there?

Anyway great to see some positive results at underage, felt as though there were years there we barely got a win at all. Derry are definitely strong and beat us well a few weeks ago but anything can happen in a final.

Rashford will be one hoping Southgate isn't the next Manchester United manager.

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on Today at 03:10:18 PMWas there not something in Offaly hurling this year where Kilcormac Killoughey had a vote on whether they'd have 2 teams in senior this year.

Since they won intermediate this year.
Not sure. I know in Armagh you can only have one team at each grade so if your seconds were promoted to senior or the unlikely event your first team was relegated you could only have one team in intermediate the following year.

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on Today at 03:10:56 PMAre the rumours true about a row in the Derry camp when they went to Portugal or is it just fabrication?
Seen it mentioned on another forum by someone who I'd be inclined to trust who says it's from a very good source. Not heard it anywhere else so who knows. You'd imagine it would be in the media by now.

Quote from: DuffleKing on Today at 02:48:29 PMIs that not how it's supposed to work - has Damien McErlain been taking the Derry u15s and u16s for the last few years?

Also - has O'Rourke not been overseeing the Armagh development squads for the last 3/4 years when they have finally started to get some traction?
Eugene O'Callaghan  was the Armagh U16 manager last year and Barra O' Muiri, Brendan Nugent among the coaches.

I'm not sure the term "Western" is appropriate, every west European country and Canada, Australia and New Zealand support the ICC.

Quote from: NorthAntrim on Today at 12:23:57 PMYes, they are competing very well. Shouldve been in place years ago

But failing to field in the reserve league as a result.

Hence my reference to everyone working together to get a joined up solution.

Loughgiel are probably the best blessed numbers wise. They have entered Div 2 as a result of limited games in res leagues over the years with (im guessing) other teams letting them down. The stronger reserve teams should play all county leagues in my opinion. The weaker play in the divisional leagues, north and south antrim and scrap these Reserve leagues

Don't disagree with your reasoning.

But then you get into a debate about whether they should play their D2 fixtures or their reserve fixtures when there is a clash and this results in other teams being let down.

I think a collective approach is required to sort this issue out.
