No better sight in sports than the fat man touchdown

Baylor's kicker got killed earlier as well

AZOffaly

That kicker got absolutely wrote off alright. Felt sorry for him. That game definitely meant something to both Baylor and Michigan State 😄

What way does the whole system work? There isn't an actual All America final or anything? Are the leagues divided up by location of the Colleges?

Oraisteach

A selection committee of thirteen people, including a few college athletic directors and even former Secretary of State Condaleeza Rice  determine who the best four teams are and those four team compete in a knockout bracket.  As for the conferences themselves, they are generally arranged by geographical location, and their names often indicate where they're located. E.g The Southeastern Conference, The Atlantic Coast, The Pacific Coast. The other two of the so-called Power Five are The Big Ten (mostly the Midwest) and The Big Twelve (mostly the south--Texas, Oklahoma etc.). There is no All America playoff to determine who the best teams are, which is why Baylor and Texas Christian feel hard done by that they were not selected as members of the final four.

Syferus

Looks like the streak is over, Oraisteach. It was a great one in fairness, and given their frailties that have been apparent throughout this year it was an achievement in itself for the 'Noles to reach the national semis undefeated.

Oraisteach

I hope not, but  I fear Cardale Jones will throw interceptions against Bama secondary in the second game.  Go Bucks, prove me wrong, but no confidence with a 3rd string QB

Oraisteach

Wow, the Noles turn the ball over five times in about twenty minutes--tough to watch

Syferus

This one is going at a mile a minute.

Oraisteach

So far, way too easy for 'Bama.  Jones looks like a QB making his second start, and the right side of OSU's defensive line looks very porous.

Muck Savage

See another SEC team not taking the Bowl games serious. Ohio all over 'Bama right now!

You could be eating some of that muck soon. The Tide were never going to lie down.

heganboy

This is a fantastic game. Enjoying the Ohio run but 'Bama are fantastic. The QB sneaks are great.

Oraisteach

No chicken-counting yet.   A whole quarter left and Bama are playing with fire.

Syferus

This is almost as good as an Iron Bowl ;D

heganboy

Referee? That's roughing the kicker!
