Got to make them pay now.  Manning was looking so good that last drive til the interception, good pressure on him for it.

Carmen Stateside

Did Manning just throw that with his eyes closed?

Gabriel_Hurl

He seems to end a lot of his throws with his eyes closed or head turned the other way alright

Carmen Stateside

Ha ha, unreal! Great stuff.

There is a theory that Eli is the luckiest QB in history. Amazing the amount of big plays his receivers have made down through the years that make him look good. Unbelievable helmet catch by Tyree in the Superbowl and even this season Cruz has been catching 10 yard passes, shaking off tackles and going 80 yards with them for TD's and now Nicks has made two huge plays today.

No that Eli is bad but his receivers make him look even better when they do things like that.

Eli this year has proved he is every bit as good as Bree's and Rodgers.  You can say the catches are lucky, but the passes are on the money everytime, this gives the receiver an opportunity to get lucky.

I wouldn't say they are on the money. Some of them are just chucked up there for the receiver to try and get. The second Nicks one could just as easily have been picked. That was all Nicks. The Tyree one was just an unbelievable catch. He had probably a 20% chance of catching that if even that. And the Cruz catches are simple 10 yard throws that Cruz turns into something by shaking off tacklers and running the length of the field.

I mean Eli is pretty good but I can't think of a QB that has had receivers make so many great plays for him in big games in recent years. Often out of very little

Looks like game over. Like the first game turnovers have been the winning of it.

Will be some hard hitting at Giants @ 49ers next weekend.

Carmen Stateside

That should do it. Packers have been sloppy with the ball.

What were the odds on a Giants-49ers NFC Championship game?

Packers looked ordinary today.  the turnovers & dropped passes have hurt them. That said the NY defensive line can snuff out anyone as we've seen over the years again and again.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Been some real bad calls against the Giants as well.

Giants won't want a 3 and out here anyway.
