Raiders really need to bring a QB in. Boller is NOT up to the job.

Even with Campbell playing yesterday the passing side of the offence was not great. 2 special teams plays won the game, along with some decent D.

Long time since we looked genuinely competitive though ....

WTF. Carson palmer to the Raiders for two first round draft pick. What do you thinkbof that?

Just saw that, can't even blame Al Davis for that !

One 5th rounder should have been enough, horrible trade, Palmer is not worth it.

Palmer's not a bad QB, but two first rounders for a guy that said he didn't want to play for the Bengals any more? And given that the young lad Dalton is settling in well there, the Bengals have made out like bandits.

Gross stupidity by the Raiders. Two first round picks is crazy.

It had nothing to do with Al Davis. They really are a bit of a joke. Will it ever hange?

tyroneman

Even by the Raiders standards this was a crazy, crazy move.

2 First round picks for a fella who is average at best, hasn't played all year and has had major surgery on his throwing arm.

Don't know what message that sends to the dressing room either.

Jason Campbell is in the last year of his contract - would doubt he will resign (unless no-one else picks him up) and has, through sheer misfortune, gone from 'the man' to no-one.

Only positives are - Carson used to be a very good QB and Hue worked with him as OffCo-rd before so hopefully should know what he's all about and how to get the best outta him.

In addition I think he is a better QB (if he even gets back to 80% of his pro-bowl days) than JC ever will be.

Still - 1 first round pick would have been steep enough, let alone 2

Although if this saves us from another JaMarcus...................... ;)

If Run DMC gets injured though we are well and truly fcuked.

Im reduced to watching NFL on Channel 4 at an ungodly hour of the morning since i came back from the states lol so borrowed the brothers digital recorder and am now recording it, where else does it be shown, is it on sky/espn?

Gabriel_Hurl

it's only one first rounder - and a conditional first rounder

Capt Pat

It will be a first and a second round pick unless Oakland makes the AFC championship game. Still way too much imho for digging the Bengals out of a hole.

Sky show 2 games plus NFL red zone every Sunday. Espn shows Monday night football and espn america shows loads of college games.

The packer head man mike McCarthy just stated that the pack are 'just seven days away from 7 and 0'.

Idiot.

Well for anyone going to the Bears vs Bucs game next week  it looks like it will be a better match then expected.

Bucs with a big win against the Saints and the Bears beating up on the Vikes, both teams hitting their strides.

Yes, Harp. I will be there, I go every year and it is a tradition now. Very much looking forward to it. It wasn't a mouthwatering fixture when announced and while they still aren't two elite teams it is a contest that potentially features two teams on the up.

Looking forward to the match and of course the entire weekend
