Heard recently about a hurling exhibition/challenge between Laois and Clare on Easter Sunday 1916 somewhere in Tipperary, possibly as a fundraiser or exhibition at a School.
Apparently Clare won well.
I presume these were the teams involved as they were the previous two All Ireland champions.
Anyone ever heard anything of this?
