GAA Discussion / Re: Riot at Tyrone club match
April 16, 2007, 10:07:44 PM
Not having a go at Tyrone as it can happen any where . The clubs in every county are responsible for their players and Supporters full stop . Other wise we are in big trouble . This sort of thing happens in every county and needs to be punnished . I am suprised as it normally happens at the later stage of the championships . Is there a history between these 2 clubs or is this thing hyped up ?

My Tyrone buddies no excuse for Tom O S actions as it could have caused damage . Maybe the young man at the end of it will leave the leg pulling to the commedians . anyway the result was a better one for you guys as away results in the league are harded to get . You also have the better forwards .Keep  thoes Haloa lit we might meet in the qualifiers

halfwit .Everyone has the right to appeal complain ,criticise and give out . My own view is that the Crokes should just let it go ?, The issue with the 2 yellow cards has happened before and will probalby happen again .Unfourtuneatly when tensions run high the segragation of fans and players is not always the best with this happening I recall in 2005 in Croke Park .The GAA must learn from Sunday .Who knows your team maybe complaining next

Just some more info on this case . It seems Athgarvan voted initially to allow the transfers and to my knowledge has not objected to other transfers . There have been complaints that not much of an effort is been put in at Juvenile level .Is there or is there not a parish rule in Kildare . If there is then they should stay with there parish team if no rule exist then lets the lads play where ever .

congrats to Crossmaglen on their win no questions better team on the day .some really great points kicked at the end . Stop all the crap about cynical play if you want to open that debate then lets discuss  Fancies attack on the Gooch during the build up to the Goal . Sad to see the ref continuing the game with a player down obivioully injured .

What a mess . Sport is about participation getting people involved especially at local level .In a city with where green space is at a premium the best use is to accomodate all possible sports in this new facility . Dunlinfella I dont have time to read all 15 pages but can you tell me is it possible to accomodate both and still have a decent capacity.? John O D has been very generous to Clubs in South Kerry as has been highlighted in the press but is for me he and his Governmenmt are a disgrace when it comes to sport. look at the  money has been wasted in the Bertie Bowl.,the bullshit prior to the GAA congress in Galway sports facilities in schools

Too many steps by McConville but still both teams get another chance .Crokes did well after losing Brosnan and McMahon .Gooch really pulled the strings when he came out onto the 40.
