What about Road to Riches in the Gold Cup, as an outsider! 10/1 get on it.

Lads, and Dublin folk in particular,

I've been to Dublin 3/4 times since I started drinking (18 of course ;) ) and I've fallen into the trap of heading into Temple Bar every time. Whilst I do enjoy it and the pubs are good craic with traditional music, I agree that it's full of tourists and the pints, although tasty, are dear.

4/5 of us aged 21/22 heading down from Monday-Wednesday for Paddy's break.. staying in either Blooms hotel/Drury Court (haven't decided yet, both got cheap!) and we're looking for just normal Dublin pubs outside of the Temple bar area.

At night we'd usually head by Harcourt Street to Dicey Reilly's and of course Copper's.
Been told to head by Pearse, South Great Georges, and South William Street? Pubs like the Long Hall, Palace, Grogans etc.

We'll probably head to the club final in Croke Park on Tuesday.

Cheers.

Given Harte's track record of dealing with things and player-manager communication, I'd say it's a case of the fore-mentioned, whereby the current players probably realise if they make any kind of a backlash against his ruling they'll be dropped before they know it without any communication informing them so.

Which should not be the case in any group, players should be able to stand up for what they believe is right, even if that means being axed at the hands of the manager.

Anyone wearing the current Adidas Predator Instincts? Looking to purchase a pair for new season ahead... "the black-outs" version.

I've always been a Nike Tiempo/Puma Kings man of your neutral black colours.. but feel the Puma Kings are now too heavy a boot compared to the others available.

Also, i take it you buy FG as opposed to SG? the soft ground ones wouldn't cut it in the summer on dry surface with the studs.

Lads, looking a bit of help here!

5/6 of us looking to give it one last throw of the dice for a "lads only" holiday.. we're all 21 now. The thing is, we've been to Magaluf, Santa Ponsa etc and if I'm honest I found them to be complete sh*tholes! Over run with typical English crowd, cheesy and tacky, not to mention our run ins with thieves, few wallets have been lost on our travels!

Any verdicts on Ibiza? We all dream of Vegas/america in general but unfortunately that's out of our budget, we're all working though (not students) so we aren't afraid to pay a bit extra for good accom etc.

Is ibiza really any different? or just your typical spanish booze up. Don't hear as much talk of Ayia Napa anymore. Cities are good craic Barcelona etc but more costly and only great for 2/3 days.

Booking it around football as well, so most likely July! [/font]

Getting close now!! This day week we will be digesting the morning line, CHELTMENTAL!!!

Here's hoping that a decent week will pay for a few guinness and a nights stay in dublin for Paddys day  ;)

Anyone follow any twitter accounts for tips?

I usually listen to @OllieHolt22 (Oliver Holt, Sports Pundit) he usually tweets 5 home wins, 3 aways, and 2 or 3 draws on a Saturday morning.

Usually not far off! I got £350 from a tenner a few weeks ago from his bets!

I think Slaughtneil at 7/2 on Paddypower is some bet, even with Sammy Bradley likely to be absent.

Slaughtneil +3 @ 11/10 surely printing money for people who can't see past Corofin.

Hard to see past Madrid again IMO, I really think they could do the almost impossible task of retaining European crown. Albeit their league form isn't great at the moment.

Any dark horses fancied? Could Borussia make it all the way against all odds with a disastrous season so far? Their champions league performances would give the opinion that it's almost a different team that plays week in - week out in the Bundesliga.

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and I'm guessing you aren't allowed to sell or advertise anything, but I thought it was relevant.

I have entered myself and 3 team mates as a team of 4 into the Blood, Sweat & Tears event which is held in Parkanaur forest, (outside Dungannon) in County Tyrone, on Sunday 22nd February @ 12pm. This is one of those 10K mud runs that can be challenging as you like, or a bit of craic for team bonding etc.

The 4 places are £20 each, none of us 4 can go as we have an Ulster League match on that Sunday, away to a Donegal team.

If anyone is interested in taking the 4 spots off me I can amend the names on the entry and send it to you via email or meet you with it.

Cheers,
