decent game tonight. conan grugan and shay mc guigan the standouts in first half. c o donnell man of the match though, kicked some great scores in second half and finished with 7 i think. mulgrew was quiet and ended up headbuttin meyler. ronan o neill quiet too but scored a gem from tight angle in second half. omagh big contenders on tonights evidence.

Omagh looked good tonight. O'Donnell outstanding, as were McLaughlin (surely county standard) and Grugan.
Ardboe very very poor tonight. Cassidy, Mulgrew and Coney very dissapointing.
I wonder when talking about Omagh winning it outright, how good were omagh or how bad were ardboe?

Isn't it great how well behaved the ardboe lads are when you get them away from the loughshore.

Mc Laughlin was excellent on mulgrew also. Only one winner in that battle

ciaran mclaughlin absolutely destroyed mulgrew. what will gavin devlin say now maybe him and the imperial leader need to get their soldiers out of the bunker up in garvaghey. inhouse games make tyrone forwards look great against very poor defenders. mclaughlin pace and strength can mark his own man without needing 2 sweepers either. meyler and michael cassidy the same. but tyrone will still go with the carthorses of mccarron mccrory and colm cavnagh in defence much like the other carthorse the original horse thats coaching them. on another note what a permormfance by conor o donnell in light of a difficult personal week. hard work pays.

So you're calling Colm Cavanagh a carthorse now?

Obviously cavanagh is an excellent footballer. Interesting that you didn't jump to defend anyone else though

Redhand Santa

Can we not leave the anti county nonsense out of the club thread and stick to the games? Thought it was a very good game last night particularly the first half. The first half was as good a half as you'll see in the Tyrone championship this year. Great pace to the game, hard hits and very good scores. Ardboe seemed to tire a bit in the second half and Omagh pulled away.

Thought McLaughlin, Meyler and in particular O'Donnell were very good. Joe worked hard and had a decent game too. Grugan took a few nice scores though still think at times he could do more in games. Apart from one good score Ronan O'Neill was very quiet though there was talk he was carrying an injury. Omagh should have as good a chance as anyone of winning the championship though they are a team who can throw away games they should be winning so wouldn't be putting any fortune on them.

The Ulster Championship made them look pretty good too.
