how does tyrone championship work i thought i thought it was the 16 teams in the league get to play in it does the team that wins intermediate get to play in it aswell who gets replaced or does the team that win intermediate championship get promoted to senior league next season no matter where they finished in intermediate league

Can anyone tell me if there has been any clubs that won a junior league title then an intermediate title the year after or intermediate league titles then a senior title  and has it happen much in county championships aswell

The best way would be a straight forward knockout no seeds or anything like that why should the likes of dublin or tyrone be protected we will of course get matchups like dublin v louth but that would be balanced out by two small teams getting drawing against each other two weaker counties playing each other with a chance to advanced would probably create a bigger buzz and atmosphere than them playing in a tier 2 tournament  in unseeded draw its not out of the realms of possibility a smaller county gets into a quarter final  would u rather play in an all ireland quarter final or a 2nd tier final.

This would be too simple for gaa tho like a lot of sports organizations these days they dont do simple and its all turning into a racket to protect the big boys/

The club championships should be promoted more too

will 2 tiers appeal to casuals will casuals go on the lash because they won a b tournament will see mass celebrations in the county that wins

have a 32 team unseeded knockout any team  from 3rd or 4th division get knocked out in 1st or 2nd round they go into the secondary competition so you either get to an ireland quarter final or get to compete in b tournament 

do most counties do straight knockout i know some conties do a group stage and knockout format 

anyone around here have memories of the provincial finals in the pre qualifier area was there a more atmosphere and hype to the games was looking at some videos on youtube and there seemed to be bigger crowds and better atmosphere do you think the provincial finals now are dead.Provincial finals before qualifiers were introduced were effectively all ireland quarter Final.

Its like if you lose the provincial final now its like it be nice to win a trophy but ah well we just play another game and be in the super 8

When do counties start club championships and do tg4 show maches from early rounds of county championships and will some matches be live on youtube

I personally have no desire to do Dublin down. They're a great team. But i know they have a lot of advantages that other teams can't compete with. I think we need 8 professional teams and let Dublin be one of them. Inter County has never worked. Small counties are irrelevant and can never win anything

would you have two professional teams per province and would we have american style teams like a team called the belfast bears

only positive from that we could have friday night games lol

People talk about dublins dominance but what do people think how there club teams perform against inter county teams could dublins top club teams beat a lot of intercounty teams are dublin that strong

Should there be more done to promote the club championships and get them on rte id would like to see maybe two games a week once club championships start on rte maybe rte could do a friday night game under the lights would be great could pick out a key game matchup each week and i think it be good for the clubs knowing they on rte.

Also the club finals should be live on rte imo clubs need to be promoted more.

BBC NI Should be showing club ulster championship games aswell

there will be no massive celebrations when dublin win leinster
