put-it-up

Cavan played Fermanagh a couple of weeks ago and played them off the park from what I was told. Our team too contains alot of young players. Only 3 of the panel are not u21 next year.So for that reason I cant see Fermanagh boys doing much, and our boys will find it hard to beat Armagh next week

Fermanagh team named for tonight
                 J McGrath,
Eugene Maguire, Niall McGovern, Mark McGovern,
Declan Drumm, Barry Mulrone, Rory Foy,
Ryan Jones, Eoghan Donnelly,
Daryl Keenan, Niall McElroy, Lee McQuaid,
Tomas Corrigan, Kevin Connolly, Chris O'Brien.

Very young team.
Alot of that team are just out of minor.
Only Foy and Keenan have any senior experience, and even that is limited

Whilst that team is young it possesses a lot of talent and players like McGovern, Mulrone, Foy Jones, Keenan and Corrigan will be future senior players.  I like the look of that team and think they could get to the final where they may succomb to Derry (given how much I know they are prob gettin hammered by Monaghan as I speak!)

Me thinks the current tyrone under 21 management could not win the all ireland with the whole senior panel. They are liable to play sean cavanagh in goals. They under achieve every year by not picking the best players!!!!!

Fermanagh win by a point!

Chris O'Brien goal in the second half turned it (he was then taken off injured)
Rory Foy played well and got a second half point
Daryl Keena also played well and got a few scores

Good second half performance i hear

Oh for fcuks sake! When you said we were 4 up with 15 left I thought we'd be able to hold on, silly me! Have to say, I didn't have high hopes for our u-21s this year, but still thought they'd maybe win a game! Good defence(on paper, but weren't gelling well), but I did wonder about the firepower up front. And the main midfielder was suspended tonight. All the same, not as good as the last couple of u-21 teams imo.
What was the final score actually?

KIDDO 4

RoryFoy registered 2 points for  Fermanagh in the second half  with the final score 1.7, to 1.6  , with Monaghan who led 1.6, to 0.3 , at the breaknot registering a score in the second period  ,  with  thecontest played in torrential rain throughout.

Well done to the Fermanagh team tonight. With so many players just out of minor level, not too many people give them a chance tonight. Great result!!
We'll win Ulster some day, not sure when.

Apparently the Armagh - Cavan game is still going ahead tomorrow night. This is a bit of a pathetic decision by the Ulster Council in light of the number of Cross players that Armagh will miss. Would it have killed anyone to put the match back to Saturday or next Wednesday?

ONeill

There was a bit by Francis Mooney in the Irish News today which stated the Tyrone/Antrim game was in Casement. Was this a misprint OK?
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
