Good Morning

This is a notice, as of now this offer is suspended (We do hope to restore this mid June) but the person who monitored and operated this offer has resigned and as the owner and mods of this forum are aware I am not qualified to judge a GAA based competition!

Should anyone here still be due a prize please can you contact us via  http://dfaffari.co.uk/contact-us/ with user I.D. and the relevant details.

Thank you all for your participation, we hope to be back with you very soon

I would appreciate it if this thread can now be temporarily locked by a moderator so that anyone still due a prize will see this notice.

thank you all for taking part

You are entirely correct!

Having 10,000 followers is useless if they do not buy anything!  Pretty much what I say to people when they discuss this software with me

p.s I could get you 10,000 followers but wouldn't as it daft and pointless, might work for teenagers who want to feel popular though

People on FB lose their sense of what their time is worth and what they are actually trying to achieve and waste hours each day achieving nothing, businesses should have a PLAN and a purpose not just post up random cr##

Anyhow.. NO it is not one of these I can get you 10,000 likes... as who cares?

Have to do a presentation for uni of a new business idea / product / service, whatever it is, in sort of a Dragons Den type thing as part of a business enterprise module.

Only problem is everything I think of I google and it's already been done or bombed.

Anyone got any ideas, serious or not that they think could work?

Doesn't have to be golden but just give me something to show.

So far I have mused:

- A standardised qualifications website where everyone is listed with all their qualifications etc, sort of like a credit report website but that employers etc could access. For a fee.

- An app to find your car in a car park. Which I found out has been done.

- Airport creches for over here. Then when I googled it found out Dublin airport are getting one shortly.

I'm stuck.

Hello,

As someone who has done a very similar course and now has half a dozen businesses I would suggest you do not need to think about something that is going to blow their tops.

What they are most likely looking for is some kind of plan on how you would bring your idea to life, as someone has already said most businesses are copies of others and although not everything has been done expecting each student to come up with something entirely fresh is never going to happen.

I would make this easy on yourself, identify a popular product, segment the market and work out a special way to exploit the niche.

So you have Apple phones
You have covers
You can get original designs for covers, UK design, china built and so on..

IF YOU DO invent something NEW, leave uni and enjoy your wealth (Give me a call too)

:D
Signed, your friend ;D

Good to know.

By the way if you win more than once (Which is obviously very possible) we will send you something different so over time can you consider this so you can tell us what NOT to send!

Just to keep it clear what this weeks match is I am reposting so the above does not cause confusion for anyone that only skims the thread!

I can't stand Clare Daly but there's some funny business going on here.

Insofar as I know, when the guards stop you and you blow into the bag, they can charge you there and then. This story says they're waiting on the results. Now I don't know one way or the other but I would guess that she passed the breathalyser but the guards leaked the story anyway because they're not happy about Clare Daly shopping them for sorting people out over traffic offenses. So she won't be charged but the smell will linger.

It's a long road that has no turning. Normally I'd have an awful lot of sympathy if someone were set up in the completely hypothetical situation I've outlined above, which I don't posit for a minute is a true reflection of events, but merely one of numerous possible scenarios with varying levels of probability. But if Daly has been set up, it's hard to feel sorry for her.

I thought you were brought back to the station for a further test? Papers said this morning she refused to be breathalysed

I have watched enough police camera action to know you can refuse, but it obviously means you are just marked down as guilty, the thing is how pissed you actually are can then not be measured.

I would take a wild stab that the reason the wrong turn is an issue is she probably tried to avoid the police and turned and they subsequently nabbed her, asked where she was headed and she then would need to say woops, wrong turn, of course I have a vivid imagination.
