I see the BBC cancelled friday night programming on BBC 1 and 2 to show the same programmes about the duke on both channels. The are receiving a load of complaints about this.

They put together those programmes fairly quick. He must have went awhile ago.

Itís a reflection of the industry they have all these programmes generally ready for
Many high profile people look at the quick turnaround on John Hume. A friend was telling me they have programmes ready for lizzy, Charles, Gerry Adamís etc

John Hume was unwell for years and there had been some documentaries about him, so they would have things ready to go. Phillip was 99, they had a plan, where the problem would arise would be with the likes of Diana who should have lived for another 50+ years.
Absolutely astounded that people don't realise these obit programmes, especially for a 99 year in poor health, are made well in advance of the event.

He's just out of form. Ireland's greatest sportsman will come again.
Ireland? On this form he's definitely British.

Itís a protest play, annoyed about the Bobby Storey funeral
Did the not arrest him?

Couldnít arrest thon guy tonight that was throwing halfers at the jeep! He was 70+ and using a walking stick! The mind boggles, in my day the snatch squad moved in and emptied everyone
Yes it's all very softly softly these days. All containment rather than prevention. Makes it all low risk and more craic for the rioters if they're not getting a rubber bullet in the temple (obviously bounced off the road as the peelers would never have taken a direct shot  :-\)

If he had have died 30 years ago Diana would be still alive.

Nah, I think it was the half-Muslim unborn child that did it for her.

Jesus  :o
He was Jewish.

How many men here been vaccinated already? Got the first jab a month ago. Sore arm next day, but like the normal flu jab I get each Yr. Don't understand the point of view of anti vacs, as we all got the triple booster when younger for tetanus, polio, etc. If you sick u at the doctors looking antibiotics / medical steroids to improve your health. How's getting this injection 💉 any different.
1st Pfizer in me weeks ago and back for the 2nd in 4 weeks. Didn't even have the sore arm. Brother in law had the AZ and felt a bit rubbish for a couple of days but grand thereafter.

Older teachers will get vaccinated within their age group and the younger teachers who are lower risk will get vaccinated in due course. Seems like a good approach.

The teachers in the South are getting concerned they won't be vaccinated in time to get away on their summer holidays.

Defensive line just not good enough for this quality of opposition.

Oh dear

Jimmy misses an easy frame ball at 62-0 up and Hendry clears up to win 66-62

I'm getting a feeling of deja vu on this bank holiday Monday

Still, I'm cautiously optimistic Jimmy can turn this completely hopeless situation around
Jimmy White being Jimmy White.

Iíve got both jabs.

Iím worried that others who donít take it will give it to others, or if there is a high percentage of non vaccine takers it will mutate and we are back to square one.

But hey ho
Both?! You look alright for 80!

Warburton in jackal mode routinely put his head in where you wouldn't put a boot, so it is unsurprising that he called it a day. When you start needing neck surgery the game is up.

Met a man today all he was concerned about was his benefits and his car thats the problem. No free cars down south he said and the fraud squad would know when you went to the toilet.I couldnt believe that he thought this way his benefits before a UI.To make it worse he would be a strong SF supporter. If he is thinking like that what hope have we of winning BP imo.
The free cars are coming to end up here.

I donít see how they are
Won't happen. Benefits are an industry here. A lot has been made about PIP and how Draconian it is with people starving etc. They forget that many many people in the North are getting the equivalent of dole, child benefit, housing benefit, DLA etc. so if you have 3 or 4 weans you could be on a right earner.
