Is this going to happen?

I've heard contradictory stories saying it's being abolished and alternatively that it's being rejigged.

Which is correct?

The Insider

The last minutes to come out stated that the Feile review committee report was endorsed by the National Games Development committee and was currently being reviewed by a subcommittee of Ard Chomhairle in advance of consideration of policy. It looks like in hurling and camogie they are going to run separate competitions for the premier representatives from the "Tier 1 " counties and were awaiting feedback from those counties . All should be known shortly as the 2014 local competitions will have to start shortly to enable those clubs qualifying to fund raise

"Tier 1" being defined as coming from counties competing in the Liam McCarthy Cup or counties who have been competing in "Division 1" at Feile?

Either way its going to be a balls for the rest, these so called hurling development committees or Croke park review committees are doing more harm to hurling than Gaelic football, soccer and rugby combined.
Absolute joke if its allowed to pass in any form.

You don't just change this for no reason.

What (in their opinion) is the problem with the current FĂ©ile set up?

That would be the normal chain of events in a process improvement, what is wrong with the current set up and how to resolve it and look at all the knock on effects, however this is Croke Park we're talking about here and rationale does seem to be lacking with some of the hair brained decisions coming out from there at the minute.
