Pure unadulterated hate, it just happened to transfer from the non-whites to a woman there... Vile

I'd say it there was dole parity with the North, this would sort alot of this out

Quote from: Gael85 on May 24, 2024, 08:59:48 PMDid O'Rourke call up any of the u20s? That wing back Armstrong is excellent.
just ohalloran. But he was already involved should have called up the lads who can actually kick a free from beyond the 20 line. Should this go badly Colm will be gone at years end. It's been a very difficult couple of years even though he has some of the best players available to him over last 10 years.

If the UK govt aren't going to commit then realistically what could 115 mill (which appears to be in place) build? Something like Ravenhill (spec wise) only bigger, say 25-30k?

Quote from: Capt Pat on May 24, 2024, 09:28:23 PMI saw that, some howler by the umpire.

Also at the conclusion of the same game, a Cork player was through on goal just outside the penalty area and was taken out by the defender. There was no black card or penalty given. I assume they are not given at under 20 level. Cork pointed the free.

Tipp went straight down the field and scored the winning point. Cork had a lot of wides. They left it behind them.

Cork had too many wides, especially in the second half.

'Goal' for Cork was poor by the umpire. Should there be a lad watching the game on a tv in a room to tell the ref. ..kind of VAR?  That was a clear goal at a crucial time in a Munster Final

With that and minors winning Munster, Tipp are not too bad off. Like Kilkenny and Cork, they'll always have the hurlers.

Just looking at a few posts above, the rule about a player coming off/physio on seems to have passed by the wayside.

weren`t too far away last time

I'd say the gap has grown since the last time. Who's going to stand that would make a difference?
probably right, i am simply looking to see which constituencies could there be a shock.
SF have a slicker operation but chris Hazard has fallen away, a few years ago he was front and centre of a fair bit of SF publicity.

I've said this before. MPs in Westminister don't make a difference in reality.

Out of sight, out of mind. SF do the right thing.

I'd say, as a quiz, it'd be hard to name the 18 MPs from the north. Unless you're a political anarok. Stormont is local and in the news a lot more.

If you look at ni question time in London, there's about 5 people at it. Nobody cares.  Only people interested in being an MP is someone like the SDLP's Richie and unionists like Dodds etc. who want to get a title bestowed on them after their time in up.  That's what the senior DUP members are after - Paisley and Campbell.

Granted, people will vote in huge numbers but ultimately it's pointless.

Rishi's one day wonder in NI.  Box ticked.  Casement is on the tip of absolutely no one's tongue in Westminster. When Labour come into power they may back it, or they may say the Tories ballsed it up. John Finucane saying on TV "it will be built". That gets said a lot and I'd love to know on what basis people say it?

Antony tries but he just has very little ability tbh. Maguire and McT have slightly more ability and good lads that can do a job but just not top players. Hojlund, Garnacho, Mainoo and Diallo should be the basis of the squad next year. Martinez and Shaw are as good as anyone on their day but just cant stay fit.

Quote from: Rossfan on May 24, 2024, 11:33:50 PMWe made a lot of errors in that 2nd half which they punished.
They made very few.
2 weeks to prepare for Kerry and we'll see how it goes.
The 7 (or more!) games will certainly help in these lads' development as footballers and look forward to seeing them as u20s and some as County Seniors.
A lot of them from the smaller clubs, hopefully they can help make their clubs more competitive and give us some new nanes as Club Champions in the years ahead.

These lads are very young in the scheme of things - 16 and 17 year olds. I know plenty of lads who were fine footballers at this age and were not so good when senior level approached. In other cases some moved away from sport with Education, work, leisure activities, travelling and girlfriends taking center stage.

Naturally on the other side, there are a plethora on show tonight that will see very successful careers with their clubs and county.
