Do Tyrone need to drop the policy of only employing from within the county?

Quote from: Jerome on May 28, 2024, 06:48:45 AMDoes anyone know Dooher/Logan's championship record our wins, draws and losses?
Bound to be close to more losses than wins?

Won 9
Drawn 1
Lost 7

Since All-Ireland win
Won 4
Drawn 1
Lost 7

That's not great reading.

Quote from: full moon on May 28, 2024, 11:45:15 AMDublin are levels ahead of the others for obvious reasons and GAA refuses to address that.

Aside from that supporters are being short changed, the GAA ticketing system is a shambles and prices are ridiculous with so many games. 25 quid to stand in a terrace with no cover in a meaningless group match with no jeopardy, poor football and for many your county has little chance to even compete. GAA Go thing also an issue.

Most people want knockout football, with teams playing others of a similar level at reasonable ticket prices and ability to pay cash at the gate. The groups are a joke.

Paying cash at the gate is a non starter. For obvious reasons the entire world is moving away from physical cash, and the GAA should be no different.

Quote from: Dougal Maguire on May 26, 2024, 01:55:10 PMVery significant win as it now brings Celtic level with Rangers as regards major trophies won with both now standing on 118 and Rangers no longer able to boast that they're the most successful club in Scotland

Or the world lol.

Was that not Linfield lol,  Or was that most league titles?

Quote from: trileacman on May 25, 2024, 08:51:54 PMI think we'll beat Donegal when the ref isn't a Donegal man.

Wha..?

Pay no heed. Donegal deserved winners today. That second half performance was Dublin-esque. Congratulations.

Mcgeary looked really sickened at the end. Tyrones only Plan B seems to be throw McShane to the edge of the box, which every county in Ireland has copped on to.
Very disappointing second half.

Not as big a game as Tyrone Donegal. It'll always be shown ahead of Armagh Westmeath.

For GAAgo the Internet can have many streams.

But the rights only allow so many games, regardless of bandwidth.

Liverpool and Arsenal are 2000/1 to be relegated next season.

Manchester City who are aiming for 5 titles in a row are 25/1.

They are obviously pricing in the 115 charges.

Has Foden not been playing on the left wing? De Bruyne is their 10.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on May 20, 2024, 01:39:32 PMIrexit incoming? What would the vote be like for that? Controlling your own borders and having all shape bananas

Surely, when they look at the mess that's the UK's been in, anyone with half a brain would realise this is madness

Lets face it - the brits did it 'cos of da foreigners'

And the foreigners have never been spilling into the country quicker

Even the far right looney bins can see that?  No?

You make the false assumption that the public have half a brain.
