Liverpool moaning has extended into Monday on OTB with a 20 minute rant by Gareth Roberts. Imagine if it had happened at Old Trafford. It would be DEFCON 1.

TBF it was probably the worst ever VAR mistake since VAR was introduced and was also probably one of the worst Refereeing performances the Premier League has seen so yeah there is gonna be discussions about it. Next week there will be something else and everyone will move on to that, though it will be hard to top what happened on Saturday.

But hopefully the British authorities do what they can with the full support of LFC. I'm pretty sure people have been held accountable in the past in Britain for this type of online abuse.

Seems to be the default of a minority of football fans of all clubs to resort to that when something goes against their team.

There are bell ends who support every club. Just reading there about some idiot who mocked Sunderland fans by putting an image on his phone and waving it about at a match of that young Bradley kid who died of cancer, what an utterly bizarre and deplorable thing to do.

It only took about 30 seconds it's a great piece of technology to ensure correct decisions are made

Liverpool need to sue the Spurs grass cutter as it's obvious that the grass wasn't cut at perfect 90 degrees to the sidelines.

You don't think this colossal f**k up is something they should try to prevent happening again? It is utterly laughable seeing how it went down. Basic focus and communication out the window.

At least it rules out the paranoia that it was some kind of corruption and conspiracy against Liverpool. Just sheer incompetence from the VAR fella in particular. The only one that seemed to have any understanding of what was going on was the man operating the video images.

And listening to it and hearing how bad they are I'm surprised this hasn't happened before.

It will end up like the NFL refs in America...they will announce the onfield decision and then announce the result of the VAR enquiry. 

Or else the VAR need to state the decision...goal or offside, red card or yellow card, etc...as the phrase "check complete" does not convey any message.

You'd need people with speaking skills though...
