What are anyone's experience with A2W heat pumps?
I have read such mixed views on them. I would really like to go that route but struggling to justify the extra expense v an oil burner.
What are the running costs like?
I am based in the north btw

Better Call Saul Spoiler spoiler alert, so feck off if you haven't been keeping up with the kardashians.

I'm slow, I'm still processing the last 2 episodes  of BCS

Mod5:  You are correct...you are slow.

Spoilers not allowed and edited out.

Two amazing episodes, happy with how it all ended to be honest.

A brilliant, brilliant show. Best thing that has been on TV for quite a while.

Better Call Saul is having a really good season.
First real explicit cross-over into Breaking Bad in the last episode I watched.

Also just started watching Bosch. 2 episodes in and it seems really good.

This season of Better Call Saul has been brilliant. A real slow burner, but really enjoyable.

World Cup will have a massive say in who wins the league this year. 5 weeks away from their clubs for players. Playing in 40C heat is bound to have its toll. It will obviously depend on what countries get to what stage of the WC and what players that involves. Will be interesting the fixtures around Christmas and who has the squad depth to be able to give certain players a rest.

Big help to Liverpool Salah not going.
The world cup could be a big factor alright, from a Liverpool point of view the worrying thing is pretty much all of thier midfeild - Fabinho, henderson, Thiago, Kieta - will be going to the world cup and are all either over 30 or injury prone ( or both)
The form of Jones/ Carvalho/Elliot when needed could be really important.

The oul "clumsy tackle" foul by forwards on defenders to prevent a quick counter attack is one of the most cynical going and us no doubtca tactic.
Refs seldom take any card action presumably as they don't want to slow proceedings and it's far away from goal.

Could we make a distinction between a "genuine" foul and a "cyncial" foul?  Any "cynical" foul coming out of your own half is automatically brought to midfield, or 30 yards forward (whichever is further.)  As I recall, there was a previous motion defeated to bring frees forward 30M for interference/dissent (or a distance like that.)  It probably won't solve a whole pile, but it is surely better.

Referees need to be much more stringent on any form of interference of a free, and increasing the distance forward will help a little at least.  Once a free is given, any attempt to play the ball or the man should automatically be brought forward without any hesitation.  Say in the example of a "cynical" foul on the 13m line aimed at just stopping the play.  The ball is brought forward to midfield but the player continues to hold the player on the ground to not allow him to get the ball away for the free to be taken.  The ball is now moved from midfield a further 30 yards, which is  around 45.  Surely it acts as some form of deterrent?  I don't think this is a particularly big change, nor difficult to apply.  A "cynical" foul coming out of defence is any foul where the tackler fouls without trying to play the ball (rather than dragging down etc used for the black card.)

How on earth do you do that and expect referees to implement consistently?

Liverpool lacking in midfield depth.

Fully fit first 11's they beat City, but only just.

It's when the odd injury comes along as inevitably they do that City are better placed to cope.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs a bit behind that but a bit ahead of West ham and Man U.
I actually think City could have left themselves a bit short with the summer transfer business. Halaand, Alverez and Philips in, but they are loosing Sterling,Jesus, fernadinho and Zinchenko who played alot of minutes between them over the past few seasons.

Heard it was....

Edit by Mod5:  better to leave names out of it, especially when only hearsay.

Hear say? The coward done it in front of a couple of hundred people! He should be getting a lengthy ban.

Not his first cowardly action on a football pitch either.
A thug.

It was a pretty disappointing glastonbury overall this year I thought.
Jack White and Sam Fender probably the pick of any that I seen.

Round of league games on both the 15th and 17th july? Would that not be the one week in the whole calendar you would think would have no games let alone two  :-\ ::) that's bound to be peak holiday season for club players surely

Double round 29th and 31st July as per website.

Where is 15th and 17th info from?
There is no fixtures on the websitre past this friday as far as I can see.
Why only the one week break? surely this year we had a little more time to play with than previous years?

Yesterdays game has sparked a debate about the use of penalties to decide games. What ever the merits or otherwise  for its use in Intercounty games, I dont think it has any place deciding underage games.
I see youth championship games in Tyrone all listed to be decided on the day withe extra time and penalties. Is this really necessary to put young lads through that?

It's called sport. Someone wins, someone loses. I don't get the whole penalties aren't fair thing. It applies to both teams, nearly every other comparable team sport has a sudden death scenario. part of the game.

we can't talk about burn out, calendars, off seasons etc and then complain about finishing on the day at the same time
Im not talking about penalties not being fair, I just feel that pressure on young lads u13/u15/u17 is unneccessary especially when there isnt the same retrictions on the calendar to get replays played

Minamino gone to Monaco - 15m euro plus add-ones

Good deal for all concerned...seem like a good fella but just never going to get games with the bucks in front of him

He didnt play an awful lot, but got some improtant goals particularly in the cup run. Bought for around 7m and sold for 15m after 2 years of beinga solid squad player is decent enough business.

Completely agree. He has moved on, Sadio, Divock, likely that big Nat, Neco and Ben Davies go too. That frees up the guts of £350k per week salaries wise. Nunez is £100k the 2 young lads a drop into that,  maybe a contract for Mo is not out of the question....

That will make the squad smaller to free up that money, grand, though should injuries, suspensions strike, as they do in a normal season, and considering the amount of games Liverpool play, they'll be under pressure to maintain the high standards..
Id like to see Ox moved on as well and an upgrade brought in. Someone young that can eventually succeed Henderson/ Milner would be ideal.
I think the squad depth up front still looks pretty decent with Salah, Nunes, Diaz, Jota, Firmino, Carvalho (and even Kaide Gordon who will be a year older)
