Fake news!
24 m people without coverage and pre existing conditions are back to fund tax cuts for the ultra rich.
the GOP is going to be hammered in 2018

It's probably going to be a wash......how many millions who already had insurance BEFORE Obamacare ended up with unaffordable premiums and ridiculous deductibles AFTER Obamacare.

To quote Bill Clinton..."it's the craziest thing ever.....people humping it 60 hours a week....their premiums have doubled and their coverage age has been cut in half"

Professor Gruber, the architect of the plan said that it was drawn up and written in a "tortured" manner because if the American people actually knew how it would work they'd NEVER support it.

I may be wrong but it's wishful thinking by Democrats to think that this will lead to a landslide in 2018

The AHCA is a TRILLION dollar tax cut, ALL OF WHICH goes to the top 2%.

It's paid for by taking away health care from the bottom 40%

But will 24 M actually lose coverage?

All the expert talking heads said that the average family's health insurance would decrease by $2500 under Obamacare and they were flat out wrong about that (and a lot of other stuff too)

According to the CBO report.

Whitey,
Let's go ahead and call bull shit right now

No one has read the bill and had time to do an assessment of the impact of the bill. This is an absolute disgrace that a bill so meaningful to the poor of the US has been passed sight unseen on order for Republicans to fulfil the repeal obamacare election promises.

The language in there about preexisting conditions and states rights are abysmal. The "religious freedom" aspect is a disgrace to human rights standards anywhere and the parcelled tax rebates for the 0.01% are shameful.

Seth Myers rip on Paul Ryan vs Paul Ryan is a humorous take on the hypocrisy of the whole thing, but let's be clear, no vote on that bill should ever have happened.

Careful what you wish for...
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

What did the CBO report say about Obamacare?   Was it accurate?

I also understand that the new bill was not "scored" by The CBO......what relevance does that have for the projections you are quoting

I would prefer them to get it right rather than rush it through.....that being said.....the bill its replacing has been an absolute abomination....it's not like that hey are replacing a great bill with a terrible bill....it's more like they're replacing a terrible bill with a less terrible bill

And I have to laugh at the Dems with their hair on fire about no one reading the bill....what was it Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare again????

"Likely" I'm not sure that word means what you think it does.

The terrible bill that gave people Heath are is being replaced by one that removes it.

I'm not sure you understand the word terrible either. Or do you mean from your own perspective rather than for the benefit of the entire country.

Terrible would describe the experience of my self employed clients and friends whose premiums have skyrocketed from $17k per year to $28k per year with a $6k deductible tacked on for good measure....you know....like the people who Bill Clinton described as "humping it 60 hours a week whose premiums have doubled and their coverage cut in half...its the craziest thing in the world"

What you and all the progressives seem to be missing or ignoring is that Obamacare was collapsing in on top of itself

The healthcare system is broken. 17.1% of GDP and it is growing faster than the economy.
So should hit 25% of GDP at some stage. FFS

The system needs to be destroyed and started over. At least 4%  of GDP is rent seeking by pharma, doctors, hospitals.
That 4% could be used to reform corporate tax or get a fiscal boost going.

@kurteichenwald  You know, when hospitals, insurers, the AARP and other pros all say Trumpcare will kill people, it's always good to turn to Fox News 4 lies.
