I don't think Kevin McLoughlin ever got an All Star , hard to believe , but I suppose with the Dubs hoovering up over 50% of the awards every year , it reduces opportunities for the other 31 counties.

Byrne very unlucky to miss out for Dublin, arguably their best defender there and 4 of the Dublin defence picked ahead of him.

McCarthy named at 6 despite playing in midfield.

I'm tslking about the young fella who played half back, maybe he's not called McLaughlin? Got the black card against Galway. Conroy possibly could have got one too.

Impossible to leave Galligan, Fenton or McCarthy out though.

He's very good and managed to change his approach in the final in the second half to power Dublin through, could have easily been replaced given the talent Dublin have in the second half but proved his worth
