It's all about personal taste, but for me, if you want to listen to School Day's Over, you are better listening to the original and the voice of Luke Kelly.....Dempsey is a poor comparison:

Didn't Ewan McCall do the original ? anyway as you say it's all about personal taste and I think it's good that "newer" artists are taking on these songs and keeping them alive . Kelly is a legend and does the benchmark version for alot of these songs .

Did I hear somewhere that the Wolftones are reworking Streets of New York for its 25 anniversary ? ( George Murphy )

Ye i love Luke Kelly singing it  but i heard Damian Dempsey on The Ray Darcy show live yesterday and i thought it was excellent did you buy his new album DRB?
