Attended a few Ballymena games this year, and have to Tip my hat to Liam. He has them going well IN Div1 all be it its early, but obviously staying up is a huge priority for them and they are now in a position where theyve enough points to do so already id think. Though makes me wonder how we havent seen these level of performances in Intermediate. If they hadnt of played so negatively throughout the first few years of his tenure i think they would have an Intermediate under their belt

This is the issue. The police try to do something to help in the short term and people come out with stuff like this.

Was on the A5 yesterday, they had their usual speed camera out at Magheramason just before the over taking lane after the village

Well the one out yesterday at Magheramason just outside the village before the over taking lane is a money making machine, and is doing nothing to curb speeding on the dangerous parts of the a5 where it should be

I mean that's what the Dublin county board wanted a few years back - to treat Dublin as a separate province.

The GAA just messed it up by giving them more money than any of the other provinces.

There is too much focus on money. Dublin may well be the place to spend money as missionary work is needed by the GAA, the point is though that money spent on the grassroots should not be allowed distort national competitions at club or county level.

Still happens in Kircubbin on the 12th morning I believe.

The local bands from Portavogie, Cloughy etc would get out of their buses and parade around one of the local estates, almost 90% nationalist and then get back on their busses to the main parade wherever.

There used to be a band "from" Portaferry do the same, but they've dwindled away to next to nothing and I don't think any of them are local to Portaferry at all now. All a bit of a sad spectacle at this point.
