Funny reading some western newspapers this morning and they convey that same attitude so its a western jealousy almost like Spillanes view on the Northern style of football.  It basically stands for Jacques schitt though as no honest tyrone gael could deny that the rise of the west was at the expense of honest football, tradition and took football mythology to its boundaries.  Referees administrators and fans were harried and harassed for the last 15 years, many will now be breathing a sigh of relief.  This western attitude is symbolic of the nouveaux riche and Id like to point out that Coalisland have more tradition and history than Errigal Ciaran will ever have and Donaghmore have a longer and more important history than Carrickmore in terms of setting up the GAA in Tyrone in tis early formative years. Even Cookstown had won championships some 50 years before there was even a club in Carrickmore.  So lets dispense with the patronising western theorising about how the east of your county must be felling today.  We were playing for it boys when all you guys did was dance.

Snappiered - speculation was that Kiddo was Sludden the referee - but you have referred to Paul - Paul ?? Do yuo know something we don't or is this just further speculation ?.
In any case, Kiddo THINKS he's a bit of brain box but avoids the big issues - a bit of a child  - and then he wonders why Dromore are not liked too much at the minute which is a pity cos there are an awful lot of very nice and decent people in Dromore - Kiddo is NOT one of them.

So Kiddo - wise up, stop stirring shite about other clubs and look after you're own whose image you personally are tarnishing. Thanks.

Orangeman Ive a fair idea who Kiddo is. His PM gives it away sorta. Yous had a tough week up that way. We r very happ with your manager from last year so far. He is making a good job of us. From what i gather the players are all very pleased with him. Any update on Brian now? Be great to see him back next season.

ballygawleyman

longball it was carrickmore that lost the 2006 final, not dromore as u have stated. dromore are thrash and i hope they never win a championship. hope cookstown teach them some manners.
in regards to the errigal team ec unique. why would you play david harte in the forwards. or play emmet or ronan mcginley. the two defending damian mcdermotts are both better players. in regards to ciaran mcginley id  play him midfield.

Brian is fairly positive about his return next year - he gets an artificial lens inserted in the next week or two - he should be fit to return to training in about 8 weeks aster that barring any further setbacks - so fingers crossed for him.

Yeah, it was an awful experience this week for the family and for the club as a whole - thanks for your kind thoughts.

Great to hear Brian after what he has been through even cares about going back. Will he be wearing some form of protective headgear in the future or will the eye return to full strength.
