Quote from: The Trap on Today at 03:13:22 PMSquare Ball not only do you never hear of anyone you know winning but you never hear or see who wins at all.
Months and months of build up to a draw and then when the draw happens......nothing.
It's a bit like the clubs who post about all their games but only put up results when they win lol

Ah now they all have legit winners just wondering if anyone had any luck over the years on the board.

Quote from: square_ball on Today at 01:32:57 PMEngland have a very good chance. Their defence isn't as bad as its made out albeit they seem to have no natural left back. Their front 4 of Foden/Kane/Bellingham/Saka is as good as what is at the tournament.

Looking forward to it. I've always favoured the Euros over the World Cup for some reason.
Me the same, but the increase in teams and reduced jeopardy in group stages has lessened the appeal.  16 teams 4 groups of 4 should been left like that top two into last 8.

Yeah that is true only 8 of the 24 going out after the group stages does dilute it alright. Next World Cup has 48 teams at it. That is overkill imo.

Quote from: general on Today at 09:23:44 AMEdendork appeared in Lissummon last night! Stung!

Did they not have a draw for giving a house away not that long ago??!!

The draw for the house was a long time ago. 15+ years I'd say. They did get in bother with gambling commission laws last year for a caravan draw but that was all cleared up.

Heres another question - has anyone on the board won anything on these draws? I've bought my share of tickets and never had a sniff of a prize.

Quote from: southtyronegael on May 21, 2024, 11:44:50 AMThought the u20s were excellent on Sunday. Some great attacking football and super defending. No,5(ohare?) And no.2 looked really good in defence.

Do you seriously not know their names?

He's from Fermanagh so wouldn't be as tuned into Tyrone gaa like us !

And hasn't watched much Tyrone football at any level since Harte left.

Yes had just seen that last week. Bit of a shot out of the blue for him. Hasn't boxed anywhere near world level or gone 12 rounds before but obviously too good an opportunity to turn down for him.

I see there a Ronan Strain being doing a bit of scoring for Drumquin in the first few rounds of Division 3. Is that the fella that played underage for Tyrone? I thought he was an Omagh man?

Quote from: RedHand88 on February 17, 2024, 07:30:26 PMDon't worry, the much talked about City "16 wins in a row streak" is right around the corner  ::)  ::)  ::)

Quote from: RedHand88 on March 31, 2024, 06:54:16 PMThat's our Erling! Scores 5 against Luton. #beststrikerintheworld.

Not to fear though, City will go on a 15 game winning streak (tm) any. day. now.

Just the 9 game winning streak required this season.

You can't let a round go on another few seconds just to see what happens. If the bell goes the bell goes. It was strange scenario in fairness. Fury would have been better taking a knee then holding on for the final few seconds. Easier said than done of course as Fury was all over the show.

Quote from: Champion The Wonder Horse on May 18, 2024, 10:41:13 PMBrilliant from Anto Cacace. What a warrior.

That performance from Cacace was right up there with the best we've seen from an Irish boxer. Delighted to see it. Always been one step forward 2 steps back with his career. The video of Frampton cheering him on was brilliant.

I think a lot of you lads are judging the overall fight on that 1 round in the 9th and then thinking Usyk should be winning comfortably. Looking at those scorecards they look fair enough imo. Fury had plenty of success in the middle rounds, Usyk done well at the start and end and then a few rounds hard enough to score.

Carl Frampton had it 6 rounds each and then with the knockdown Usyk wins 114-113. Though I agree with the above it Fury could/should have been stopped by the ref in the 9th. Seen fights stopped for less.

Fury was edging the fight until that 9th round. After that it was all Usyk.
