Your mind would be blown so if you read the original comments on the matter.plenty of one's saying he didn't dive at all!

Is the problem not that landlords are charging way and above the mortgage on the property? That would just be pure greed.

What's wrong with average? By definition the majority of us are average. Like I said, you're reading too much into what was a fairly benign statement.

I've no idea, and will never know now you have decreed it that referees can't be discussed. Maybe lighten up a bit, you've seen an attack on a referee where there wasn't one, which is fine. And you're quick to defend referees which is also fine. Enjoy your sunday

So past performances can't be discussed? Good to know

What's wrong with it? Refs can't be average no? Or is it they can't be discussed at all?

Down / Re: Down Club Hurling & Football

I think everyone agrees that ten teams in divisions one and two is the ideal. But how do you get there for the start of the 2023 season? Playing home and away this year isn't feasible. One set of fixtures is too little games,so they've come up with this plan.for one year only.

The worst one is the CCC proposal as all it would do is hammer home the gap in standards between the divisions. A 16 team D1 is a horrible thought, and an 18 team D2 worse again. Top v bottom clashes would be like the Rugby World Cup group stages.

League football will never be as important as Championship. But it has a serious USP in that it is evenly-matched, competitive football. If we take that away, we take everything away.

I wouldn't  be in favour of the CCC proposal but reading the problems with the first two options I can't see a better way to get back to ten team leagues.

Any reason for first time Antrim champs being favourites to beat a team who beat crossmaglen?

That's not even a decent attempt at trolling.

An accommodation could have been reached, and in the noughties it looked like it would be. However, unionism through its political representatives have demonstrated that it's not just the union they want to maintain. It has to be the union and the north has to be a place where any hint of Irishness is fought against and described as a 'concession'.
The flag protests and the politicising of the Irish language act has shown a whole new generation of post GFA nationalists that the constitutional status quo just won't work.

It'll likely be the profiles have silicone ran up the back of them. Very difficult to remove the profiles without damaging the tiles if this is the case. You could try getting a wire in between the profile and the tile.

Down / Re: What to do about Belfast

You're probably right at the border between the two clubs and maybe even saint brigids aswell. I'd say there would be plenty of streets in the four winds be the same, kids from the same street playing for different clubs. That's to be expected with the two clubs existing side by side and more or less joined by new estates now.

Not sure where you live, but if you grow up on the ormeau road you'd play for Bredagh, and similarly if you grow up in carryduff you'd play for carryduff. If you have moved to the area from the country you could play for any of those teams I would have thought. But you could say the same for if you moved to newry.

The geographical rules that govern membership in Bredagh or carryduff are the exact same as the rules which apply to Annaclone or warrenpoint. And rightly so. Unlike the Antrim side of Belfast, there is a set catchment area for the down clubs.
