What is Gooch Cooper talking about the big shoulder on Lee Keegan- he forgot to mention that it was shoulder to chest - full on. Dangerous and deliberate.
fair hit. keegan is done

That was nowhere close to being a fair hit

Ryan O'Donoghue could be getting the curly finger fairly soon

Cillian O'Connor with two points from play so far

That 4/1 bet was 4/1 for a reason

I hope they all lost money on it

Cillian is 4/1 not to score from play on Saturday, put your money where your mouth is lads

Where is that?

Absolutely outstanding value.

He has failed to score from play in 3 of the previous 8 meetings and registered just a solitary score in two others.
Good old Paddypower is offering it, good value I think too

Aye. Great value

Anyone who doesn't think C'OC isn't a top player needs to have a talk with themselves

Houlie rattling the onion bag especially his 93 run when we played 6 and got to and Ulster Semi and Derry played 5 and won Sam!

Marked him on my championship debut In '94. I was a scrawny 18 year old and he made a dummy out of me and I got the curly finger at half time. Didn't forget it and melted him a few months later in the league .... didn't make any difference to the game but I got great satisfaction out of it!

Fran McMahon and Brian Mullins....loved my hallions round the middle!

Let Fran in Chicago many years ago. He would be friend it with my cousin Kieran McNally over there. Nice guy

sure nothing will happen as long bandwagoners go to games if people want change boycott matches tell them you not going anymore.

So people who go to support their counties are bandwagoners now? I go to as many Armagh games as I am able it and will keep on doing so until the day I die. Dublin winning Sam every year won't change rhat

I dont gove a toss if Dublin win it for the next 100 years....as long as there is some kind of level playing field.

Cavan today played their 5th match in 6 weeks. Looked tired... because they were tired.

Heres a solution that might just breath some life into this thing before no one cares any more. Do away with provincials altogether. Its a small country we live in. 5 hours top to bottom.

Two comps. Sam for teams finishing in next years Divs one and two of the league. Mick for divs three and four. Wuth proper prizemoney holidays and perks for winning it. Played before Sam final. Double header.

In all competitions, neutral ground for venue. That would free up Croke Park as a venue for all counties.

If the Dubs thought they might draw Mayo at a neutral venue, it might mean they need to have their A game in place for the very first match, instead of cruising through Leinster in second gear.

And the B comp will be every bit as competitive and worth winning.

I've been advocating that for years now. But I already think it's too late.

Kerry on a good day might push Dublin. Nobody else will. Teams from 2-16 could beat each other, but nobody will beat Dublin. It's over. The horse has bolted.

Kerry must have had two good days last year then

For the first time I turned the game off with about 15 mins to go. That's not a slight on Cavan. I've enjoyed watching them this year - mostly in the first league game against us - they've been excellent and they have been a breath of fresh air. It's not even a slight on dublin. It was just one steam roller too many. Hopefully Mayo/Tipp can give them a game in the final. I won't hold my breath though. Well done Cavan on a great championship. You should be proud of your boys.

Some amount of idiots on here.
Yes Lennon deserves to be sacked. Has done for a while now. Yes it's ok to protest. But it certainly is. It ok to do what some fans were doing last night.

Terrible result, one of the worst in a long time but was it really a shock they way we've been playing. I've said from months ago i'll not defend Lennon when it can't be defended against. I said last week his time is up and today probably put the final nail in his coffin but i can tell you one thing for sure, them players that put that display in are a disgrace to the Celtic jersey. Actually they should be sacked too most of them for being so unprofessional.
For the record and i'm sure all you real Celtic fans out there will know i've just had an issue with one here and will gladly debate any issue with any of you but refuse to acknowledge that other clown and his remarks and that's just for being a hateful ****k

I agree with you. That wasn't a shock. There's a malaise there and I can't figure out what it is. Maybe it runs deeper than Lennon. One thing I know is that Lennon needs to go. For how own mental health as much as anything else

Was a good game. Dublin just had that  wee bit more experience than us

You wonder do any of the Dublin players, even for just a moment, think that something just isn't right here. Do they think that the scales are heavily balanced in their favour and that doesn't quite sit right with them. Or inside that bubble of a county panel do they think that we just work harder than the rest, that we have better volunteers that other counties and that everyone else should work as hard as they do. You would have to think that at some point they wonder that beating other teams in Leinster by 10-20 points is fun or enjoyable or just sport. Maybe they are happy, great for Dublin GAA, feck the begrudgers. You would have to think as GAA men some part of them is not too happy with the current state of play.

I'm not sure what it's like for county supporters like the dubs, but at club level winning every year for so long we just wanted it to continue. I don't think there was any guilt felt by the players during that period.

Only a fool would want it to end
As a Dublin fan I think it's great to able to watch the likes of Fenton, Kilkenny, Cluxton in a Dublin jersey. Jack McCaffrey isn't there this year, but there's a buzz in the crowd when he gets the ball and you're just waiting for something to happen. That's why people watch sport.

Not only are they winning, but they play entertaining football. I don't know how people watched their county teams every game play dull negative defensive football that the rest of us had to sit through as the live game on the TV every sunday for years. At least watching on TV you could change the channel. Thankfully the majority of teams have moved away from this negative approach now

Dublin's domination is not going to last forever despite the hysterics and nonsense claimed here so just enjoying it while it lasts. Cluxton, McCarthy, Philly won't be around much longer so enjoying while we can.

Right, because there WON'T be top class replacements coming through to succeed them. ::)

I don't see the replacements being as good as the ones mentioned in the post there. Especially in the case of cluxton and McCarthy
