For the record O Neill, George Sigerson was from Holyhill, which is in the parish of Leckpatrick.

Just saying like!

Sigerson was (would have been) a proud Sigersons man!  ;)
Carlsberg don't do Gombeenocracies, but by jaysus if they did...

The same team when were U14's were in Grade 3 and are now Grade 1 county champions at Minor level. Some turnaround.

and they couldn't even win grade 3 that year. we beat them by 13 points in league final at Moortown. must have been some serious coaching/development done in ardboe in last 4 years. well done ardboe - some achievement!

There will be a LOT of strange results over the next couple of weeks:

Ardboe v Eglish - Eglish to get points
Clonoe v Killyclogher - Killyclogher to get points
Errigle v Edendork - Edendork to get points
Kildress v Dromore - Kildress to get points
Galbally v Moy - Galbally to get points (Moy dont want promotion)
Gortin v Aghyaran - draw!

Someone should have told the Moy players they didn't want promotion.

Does anyone know is the announcement today re Tyrone trials at minor level signify those that have made the cut to the 'next stage'? Only 1 North Tyrone club represented in the 100 players?

That can't be right? Can it! Especially considering that Strabane reached the grade 1 U16 final last year, and we reached a grade 2 final.

No Coalisland, Strabane, Urney, Owen Roes, Eskra, or Eglish in them trial squads plus a few others too. Id say there is another trial to go.

HA HA HA HA HA how many of these predictions actually happened.  Moy must be kicking themselves now, did nobody tell then it said on gaa board that they didnt want promotion so it must be true!!  Moy will now more than likely go to Div 1 and see how long they can avoid relegation.
