Great performance today. 20 minutes either side of half time was when the crucial lead was made. Had to hold heads a lot after that when errigal tried to get the game to descend into trouble with a lot of late and dangerous tackles. Great win, looking forward to Carmen.

Going by Tyrone GAA website it looks like Carmel played dromore in garvaghey. Is that actually right. If so why?

Great year for the club. Senior and reserve double along with minor league and U16 Championship. Given that the senior/reserve panel is quite young along with the underage success I think the future is bright in Errigal. :)

also, don't forget the Ladies championship and the Juniors reaching the playoffs!!  ;)

Good man. I hope to add a senior league to the list as well.

If you don't win on Sunday it would be a major surprise. We have had two league games since August. Fitness????The wonderful CCC has ensured that this is a one horse race.

Ah I don't know. Our boys are tired and prob a bit sore since last Sunday. Missing a few through suspension and injury including Pete Harte. Not sure if the boys will be up for it after last weekends disappointment.

EC pull the other one your boys will give the rahillys a serious tanking on sunday because the difference in the level of football played since August or september

That depends if they could be bothered with another league title.

Was talking to a few of your senior players today they are going for it they dont plan to be taking it easy tomorrow afternoon. My prediction is an EC v Fianna final EC taking home yet another title some season for them

is it even certain that clonoe intend fielding tomorrow?

This will win cute hoor post of the year on Fruiday night's teamtalk awards.

:D ;D :P honestly not in the loop but that's what I had heard talked about

Clonoe held out for a battling win 0-11 to 1-07. Built a massive lead 0-09 to 0-01 about ten minutes into second half. Fitness started to show and errigal came back to a draw. Big result at this time of the year to fight back and win. Id Fianna are happy with the outcome.

There will be a LOT of strange results over the next couple of weeks:

Ardboe v Eglish - Eglish to get points
Clonoe v Killyclogher - Killyclogher to get points
Errigle v Edendork - Edendork to get points
Kildress v Dromore - Kildress to get points
Galbally v Moy - Galbally to get points (Moy dont want promotion)
Gortin v Aghyaran - draw!

Someone should have told the Moy players they didn't want promotion.

HA HA HA HA HA how many of these predictions actually happened.  Moy must be kicking themselves now, did nobody tell then it said on gaa board that they didnt want promotion so it must be true!!  Moy will now more than likely go to Div 1 and see how long they can avoid relegation.
Clonoe and the Pub on the Ormeau road won those two.

Your just one hilarious b**tard aren't you?  :-[

Well I thought it was funny.

Good result for our young team yesterday. Poor opposition but still, happy to get off the mark in Ulster which is more than a lot of teams from Tyrone have done in recent years......no substitute for tradition  ;)

Fair play to Errigal, got to say they keep on surprising.

The Beard it Must be nearly a whole two decades of tradition. Where do people get this idea of errigal being an arrogant bunch anyway??

Two totally different examples. Ardboe refusing to field for an extra time period is one case.  Dromore fielding an allegedly illegal player is another.  Both must be punished by the punishment deemed suitable by the rulebook, if guilty.  There can be no grey area with discipline.    My understanding is that these indiscretions carry a non discretionary expulsion from the competition.  I hope for the sake of either club that neither are guilty or it appears they will be out.

from what i can make of things on here, neither offence seems significant enough to warrant expulsion, but it would be unfair to expel ardboe in one code but not re-instate in the other. interesting times.

Errigal disposed of a very undisciplined Edendork/Killyman in dunmoyle tonight. They need to learn how to loose.

I think someone might be trying to get a wind up goin here EC

pot and kettle EC perhaps?

They play as naomh mhuire at youth level. A Gael from your part of the world should have the decency to refer to a collection of teams as their proper title right?
