Looking to buy a pair of wireless headphones (noise cancelling not essential) and looking some advice from the nice folk on here. Looking to avoid the in-ear 1's and would prefer on-ear or over the ear
Not looking to break the bank so the likes of Bose and Beats are probably out. Headphones would be used primarily walking to and from work and used when heading out for a run in the evenings.
Sony seem to do some decent 1's and I've came across makes like Bluedio, Kit Sound, AKG and JBL at cheaper prices but unsure if they would be worth taking a gamble on.
Anyone with a pair, had a pair or any knowledge of these would be appreciated. Thanks
I have a pair of Sony MDR-Mx1000s and they're great. The newer versions are even better. Pricy, but worth it.
Not for the gym or running or anything though.
Ive had kitsound arenas before and although they are ok, they certainly arent fantastic.
About 8 months ago i got a pair of Bose QC35 IIs and they are one of the best pieces of technology i've ever bought. I use them for commuting etc but ive never taken them on a run so cant comment on that. Cant see it being a problem though.

I'd love a pair of the QCs but can't justify 300+ quid on them. I'm no fan of flying and I found that noise cancelling headphones are a really good help as the block out the changes in engine noise. I bought a pair of Sony ones for about 100 quid but they're still leaky and no comparison to the QCs and Sony MDRs.

Same as my Sony, you could of course use them for gym/running etc but the sweat would destroy the pads.

Got a pair on ebay for 4.99, great job, no complaints
Wee lad wants Santa to get him a set for the PS4, needs a mic though and I'd prefer blue tooth as he pulls the shite out of the cable ones?
Any recommendations in the £20 to £30 range?

Our fella got a set for the ps4. he also is the the kind of guy who cant sit still but thankfully the wire plugs into the controller and not the ps4.

That is true also, so a cabled pair might suffice. what did you buy?
Have a set of SOny ones think they're about £30-40 and they're a great job i'd use them for jogging as well and there's no problem.
They have a decent mic on them too!

Almost sure he has these ones https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8063465 (https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8063465)
Nope, just checked. He has these ones
Beexcellent GM-1 Gaming Headset 3.5mm https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07B3S9WST/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_yiwcCb5ZN08K2 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07B3S9WST/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_yiwcCb5ZN08K2)
I'm mad about my headphones and have about 40 pairs from inexpensive to top of the range ones. The Sony MDX 1000 are easily the best value ones I own and are regularly available on Amazon for £150 to £200. Just make sure it's direct from Amazon and not a reseller. Unfortunately mine were broken in a bad car accident in March and I haven't replaced them yet. My dad has the newer version but I prefer the originals and rate them much higher than the QC35's. The B and W p7 are excellent too but a little more pricey.
