Looking forward to an entertaining game after both teams scored heavily in the last round.
Cavan seem to have found their attacking verve the last 2 games and can now rightly be called the Brazil of Ulster football.

Fermanagh are unbeaten at fortress Brewster in over 2 years and will be looking to push on after a very encouraging display against Laois without Sean Quigley.

Winners of this game will be thinking about a shot at promotion.
Losers will be looking over their shoulders nervously.
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

The statistic of Fermanagh being unbeaten in Brewster is surely balanced by the fact that 10/11 of the Cavan team have never lost a game there either and that's a lot of games when you take into account the U21 campaigns of the last 5/6 years.

I do think this will be a very tough game for us. Fermanagh deserve huge credit, they've good players and a top manager. They have quality at midfield and in the full forward line. I think Cavan could edge it by a point or two but I'm not saying that with any great confidence.

Quigley will be marshalled by Killian Clarke and Corrigan by Faulkner maybe. Those contests could decide matters.

This is a massive match for both teams in the race for promotion

This will be the first time this year that Fermanagh will have everybody available for selection.
Marty O'Brien got 20 minutes against Laois and McCluskey was also on the bench.
Pete should have a few selection issues which is good to see.
Pete has built up a good panel and we are a lot stronger than last year.

McKiernan seems to have found a new slot for himself at Chf for Cavan but I wonder can Cavan afford to play him there and not in midfield where we are quite strong.
Cavan's inside forward line is very dangerous and has been scoring heavily.
Our full back line will be tested.

As you say it will be a tight game and there will not be much in it.

The Pete McGrath factor might swing it but Fermanagh will need to shackle SJ.

Well beaten

Cavan turned the screw after half time.
Scored 1-3 to a point to open up a 6 point lead.

We are up against it now.
Will be hard to pick up points in our last 2 games.

Cavan in with a real chance of promotion

Westside

A great win tonight. Never looked too troubled. Johnston is providing a bit of class that we haven't had up top in the last few years. Buchanan and Mossy looking good together in midfield and it's freeing up Gearoid to make his raids forwards at will. With McDermott, Flanagan, Mackey, Keating, Rory Dunne all to come back there's decent options off the bench.

We have good momentum now going into two home games against Laois and Galway but promotion is out of our hands and we need Derry to drop points even if we win our last two games. Are we ready to face the likes of Dublin and Roscommon yet? Perhaps not but it would be a good place to be nonetheless.

Much more comfortable win than I expected. We need Derry to drop a point somewhere as they have the head to head on us.

Cavan have to beat Galway
Fermanagh should be okay if Meath continue their rich vein of no form

Probably, but a certainty is that Derry need to drop a point for Cavan to pass them.
