Hasn't conceded a goal in a while though, actually quite good in that dept.

Pat Ryan under a bit of pressure this weekend
Can understand the level of criticism of the Manager but to call out two players who are just there because they are picked is a bit much.
Obviously no younger talent bursting down the door to take their place.
I am no fan of Cork either.
Is Harnedy in there also this year?
Cork are so inconsistent. What Cork will turn up?

Would it not have made more sense to give the top of table team home advantage or toss a coin for home advantage which would attract a bigger crowd for the final than to bring both to Castlebar?. In driec

Great! In a direct clash with Galway's away trip to Wexford if I'm correct.
Quote from: Manning18 on April 20, 2024, 06:39:32 PM"Get out of jail card" and daylight robbery that I keep seeing being mentioned everywhere suggests luck on Galway's side, not really having that. An absolutely dire performance yes. A great performance by Sligo, absolutely. Their conversion rate was superb
But everything seemed to go against Galway, from the point awarded to Sligo that was 4 foot wide, to some of the first half ref decisions and the 5 missed goal chances obviously. If even one of those chances goes in it's a very different game. Not that it means it's in anyway acceptable to be going into injury time a point behind a D3 side but it does explain a bit of how they got there
Agree with the above on O'Conghaile and McCabe. Like I get they're young but still it's completely inexcusable from management. O'Conghaile hasn't done a single positive thing since R1 of the league and McCabe couldn't even make the u20 side last year. Cunningham and o'Currain have done significantly more than either. You could play O'Flaherty in the forwards either who's in excellent form
Quote from: JPGJOHNNYG on April 12, 2024, 11:00:01 PMAwful rubbish. He has no business being anywhere near the water on 11 it's as if he has never played the course before. Too many missed short putts and too many brain farts. Will probably do the usual and end up with a couple of good rounds to finish in the top 5 after he has played himself out of contention. Defo needs a proper caddy to sort his head out.

Awesome a coach who can't even get Greece to the euros through the back door of dud teams, can't wait. Might as well stick with o'shea
Losing on penalties ONCE doesn't mean the manager is bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZt6-NJYv6U
O'Shea needs more time anyway. He definitely has talent.
Quote from: Sportacus on March 21, 2024, 12:25:55 PMQuote from: mouview on March 20, 2024, 12:44:51 PMUndoubtedly, his greatest error as Taoiseach was to give Boris Johnson a compromise deal on Brexit when they met in the Wirral that time. Tories were sinking fast without it and it allowed Johnson put through an agreement he subsequently tried to renege on and never had any intention of upholding. Are you saying you'd rather he had ignored the opportunity to lock down no hard border so that he could sink the Tories?
Quote from: Hound on February 23, 2024, 08:31:23 AMKenny was on €520,000 but they have upped the salary to €700,000 for the new man. But apparently still well below championship salaries, albeit surely far less work.
Looks like they are doing their best to secure Carsley and the sticking point is the salaries of his staff. Rumour that if they can't get him, they'll stick in John O'Shea as temp manager with Anthony Barry taking over in the summer when he's finished with Bayern and Portugal.
