Páirc De hÍde 23k capacity more than enough for a Group game.
Plus ye get the  benefits of 3 or 4 hours of breathing fresh Roscommon air.

Quote from: thejuice on May 06, 2024, 08:31:28 AMIt would be great to see a real minnow win this.

We'll need a 3 tier Championship for the real minnows to win one.
Of the 4 Finalists to date 3 were once strong Counties going through bad patches with nearly 20 Sams between them.

It surewas. Typical Connacht football (underage only nowadays).
Bench and never give up spirit  came to the rescue again
A poor 10-15 minutes before ht didn't augur well but that start to the second half....
Goals win games as the saying goes and apart from a few lumpers at the end Galway never threatened our net.
Ref did us no harm at times but some baffling decisions.
In my biased view Galway coulda got maybe 4 black cards.
Now for an even bigger test next week.....

All Roscommon Club Leagues finish mid July now, not in November, or 18th December or next March or sometime unless we forget about it altogether.
Club Championships start 2nd weekend August.
Players know the fixtures in advance and can plan their lives accordingly, not waiting for a message on a Monday night as to who or where they might be playing at the weekend.
