waterford made too many unforced errors and all too often took the wrong option. In the second half they lost all shape in around the mid third giving kilkenny all to easy ball out of their defence. Kilkenny deserved winners even if i did think they were filthy out there today but if the ref doesn't punish you its a not a foul i guess, should have been down to 14 early on for what were 2 yellow card offences by the number 10 ( cant remember who was 10 for the life of me ) and really should have been down to 13 after a horrible stroke on noel connors. All that said cant see that level been anywhere near the level needed to topple tipp (should they overcome dublin of course).

Just happy to see a bit of flair back in the waterford team. the brick walsh was emmence today back in the more familiar surroundings of the half back line. bring on the cats and have a crack at them again. Hard to know how to rate it tough giving how quickly galway seemed to throw in the towel in the second half.

I believe all 4 panels would prefer playing there ( as would in private alot of their supporters).

Not even slightly, as AZ said thurles is like home to waterford, and limerick, as well as been generally regarded as the best hurling surface in the country in side the ground, you cant get better than the square in thurles on championship sunday in my opinion.

invest in off shore wind farms and tidal stations, we could be exporting enough clean energy to power the whole of europe with the weather and seas we get off the west coast

From The London Times: A Well-Planned Retirement
A perfect example of government mismanagement.

Outside England 's Bristol Zoo there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 buses. For 25 years, it's parking fees were managed by a very pleasant attendant. The fees were for cars (£1.40), for buses (about £7).
Then, one day, after 25 solid years of never missing a day off work, he just didn't show up; so the Zoo Management called the City Council and asked it to send them another parking agent.

The Council did some research and replied that the parking lot was the Zoo's own responsibility.

The Zoo advised the Council that the attendant was a City employee.

The City Council responded that the lot attendant had never been on the City payroll.

Meanwhile, sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Spain or France or Italy ... is a man who'd apparently had a ticket machine installed completely on his own, and then, had simply begun to show up every day, to collect and keep the parking fees, estimated at about £560 per day -- for 25 years.

Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over 7 million pounds ... and no one even knows his name.

three times in a row she has won the world championships, the last two of those been voted fighters fighter for the entire comp (all weight classes included). the girl deserves the media attention she gets. She is class act inside the ring and has tecnical abillities most male pros can only dream of possessing. look at the attention sonya o sullivan or dervla o rourke have enjoyed on what in dervlas case can only be described as mediocore success. Anyone would struggle to mention another sport in which any of our countrymen or women have dominated in such a manner.
Feck the begruddgers, good on ya katie flying the flag with pride.
